Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Went househunting for my boyfriend today, it's his first time moving out of home properly and we found him a really nice flat.

Losing a pet is horrible Das Kitty...I had to have one of the cats put to sleep last week as he was poisoned. Poor mite never had a chance - he was only 18 months old or so. His sister and my dog are lost without him Takes time to adjust alright, but laugh at the happy times you managed to have together.... 0

My uncle passed away a few hours ago. He has been sick for a long, long time and he had been worse lately but I thought he still had a while left so it's a bit of a shock.

I posted a few weeks ago about an interview, got informally offered the job today, subject to references, contracts, all that jazz.
Am completely thrown, went for it as I really really wanted it, but feel bad at leaving my current job.

Sorry for your loss Wintersong.
Feel your pain DK, my dog died not so long ago. It's a horrible feeling.
The OH was out last night and thought it would be a nice gesture (since I was babysitting) to bring me home a battered Mars bar....Except he ate it on the way home.

I wanted to do Cryptozoology at one point. Turns out there is no such course though (well not one that you could get a grant for anyway!). Shame, I coulda been a yeti expert.

It depends on where the sorting office is. IIRC, post from Sligo gets sorted in Athlone. There's another site like that that has WAY more unis on it and lots of awesome courses. I've signed up to loads of them but never have the time to go through the coursework. Did about two weeks of cryptography about a month or so ago. Interesting stuff. 0 -
