Ah now, that is Fifa territory, and I always buy Fifa on launch at the reduced rate. Really bad move by them if true, going to damage sales figures.

2 different sports though, I'd certainly be picking both up if they come out the same time

But I can still only play one game at a time, and Fifa always gets a play-through at launch. Tradition and all that.

Got Rwc today as a gift,how is Rugby Challenge not better than a reskinned PS2 game. The only thing HD about the RWC game is the menus.

i wouldnt expect the other formats to be much different. the game itself is also too fiddly. its the exacty opposite to RWC, however this is coming from someone who isnt a fan of rugby. i could enjoy rwc despite the fact thatit wasnt very good, because it was accessible. this one, despite having a tutorial section, seems like it tries to do a little too much. however, rugby fans might well love it

personally it feels far too ps2 for my likings

A: the official forums have some feedbck already about framerate issue, but only on xbox360 noted so far
B: Did you ship this game to canada even though your not much of a rugby fan? just interested

I got the game this morning in the post from NZ. Im a massive rugby fan and i think its class! Alot more realistic than RWC11. It is also alot harder and not a game that you can just pick up and be amazing at straight away. I haven't noticed many bugs that have been reported by others yet and I heard that the frame rate issues and many more were being sorted in an upcoming patch.

playing on normal difficulty on my first day which is prob too hard for me (normal is the middle difficulty setting of 5, the default setting is second easiest setting)

Reviews for both games are pretty poor. This one is just the better of a poor bunch.

you will see Rugby Challenge is averaging 71% after 4 reviews.

I have seen 7 reviews for Rugby challenge and the average score from those is 75%.

I would rank 71% as a poor review. As I said, review have it better than RWC, but still not great.

The game will come with the latest patch "built in". For those who imported, it appears the big patch will be released before the game releases in Europe. Possibly in the next week.

Guy in Gamestop told me today that their confirmed release date is the 7th not 14th of October. Dunno if he is wrong or not just passing on what I was told.

hey, did u get it for ps3 or xbox360?

there is a 'project novo' for ps3, ill pull out the link if ur on ps3?

go to edit teams to transfer the players manually - mess around with it, its always to best way to learn... if you have already done that and are still having trouble let me know and i'll give some details.

Im on xbox myself and i've changed all the teams to the real ones. Its pretty sweet for the South african teams cause all of the players names are already in the commentary.

To change player teams you just go into the actual team and select to swap a player and find the one you want in the team. It takes a while to do all the international teams!
