    is it just interference, theres an app in cydia called x gps
    download that and then clear the gps cache and delete the app if ya want

    I'm trying to unlock a 3GS on 4.1 and this claims to do it:

    But it says install ultrasn0w then search for it and install it but when I search for it, allthat comes up is the one I've installed?! When the screen goes black it pops up saying "could not activate cellular data network"

    It's jailbroken with limera1n

    Check the dev team blog. Just updated with new unlock for 4.2.1 for 3G and 3GS.

    ssh, downloaded the fonts from iphoneruler and then just replaced the files in the font folder with the new ones, if ya do it make sure ya back up the original fonts first cos they will be overwritten

    afaik ya can download fonts from the insanelyi repo in cydia and enable then with winterboard

    custom logos are not available for this device

    install cydia
    install custom bundle
    just booth tethered now
    just enter pwned dfu mode right now


    nothing about ipad baseband :(

    ok, done everything right,once i opened cydia to install unltrasnow, after reboot im stuck on the apple logo.

    Just leave it for a while. Sometimes takes a while after ultrasn0w install

    Is there a way to do this without updating my bb or does this make a difference.

    Also am a windows user.

    I getting very confused reading the various message boards.

    Ultrasnow is a package in Cydia that unlocks the phone to get cydia you need to jailbreak the phone use redsnow.connect the phone to your pc back it up then close iTunes run red snow.

    No problem using a pc! The only way to update your base band is updating through iTunes

    Just note if your trying to updat to 4.1 download tinyumbrella AND SAVE YOUR SHSH!!! Before doing anything.
