Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I agree, sit back for a couple of months if you can, lot of panic buying going on at the moment I reckon. Otherwise, keep looking at dd or hope someone here offers you something.

    That's the plan :D
Yeah I saw a mint condition Pajero for sale on DoneDeal a little while back, taxed and tested, chrome bullbar and spots, nice looking jeep, located about ten miles from where I live. For a grand. I saw it at about 22:15, though it might be too late to ring and decided I'd ring first thing in the morning.
So I did, and they said 'oh sorry, that was sold late last night'.:(
Couple of people told me a Trooper would be better buy?
Something about parts being easier to get and it being more reliable. ?
Also, they reckon a 3.1 litre is more economical to run than say a 2.5 or 2.8?
Anyway, any offered for sale will be seriously considered.

I'm looking for a starter motor for a Deutz single cylinder aircooled engine, its a F1L210D engine.

The engine is currently in a boat and we do not know what it came out of originally, maybe a mini-digger or dumper or could have been driving a pump or compressor.

We've done alot of looking and can't find anything, worse again there is no numbers left on the motor itself.

Just wondering if anyone has any info on theis engine or where a starter could be got for it, the one we have has been reconditioned a few times and is really on its last legs.

Failing that, we might be interested in a similar engine complete, Yanmar, Lister Deutz etc, something around 20hp.

    Thanks in advance Murph

I've been a bit slack of late and allowed wanted items to sit around in the main forum, done a bit of tidying up this morning.

Could posters please put simple wanted items straight in this thread in future. If you're not sure it should be here, pm me first.

If a wanted item generates some interesting discussion I'll be happy to move it to it's own thread.

    Thanks

I love my jeep, but im in bad need for a fuel injector pump for a 1996 Bighorn, 3.1 Diesel. ANyone have any ideas? I've been on the phone to a load of breakers but they dont have the jap import (Electronic Fly by wire) version.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,884 ✭✭✭101sean

    Try Milners for new http://www.milneroffroad.com/categories.asp?cID=410
Otherwise try UK breakers or get your pump rebuilt by a specialist here.

I've deleted the duplicate post in the old thread.

If ya go to one of the bigger shops like carpet right or places like that they'll have plenty of remnants that would be plenty big enough to do what you want for not too much money. Tell them what you want it for and they should knock off another few quid.
They always have ends of rolls or carpet leftover from fitting jobs.

I went to my local VW dealer and they want 200+ euro as it has indicators in it. Any advice on where i could even get a second hand one, anywhere I tried don't seem to have any.I have tried Traynors up the north, they had one but had it just sold before i ordered it. I have all the wiring etc. I just need the actual mirror and unit.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6 jennym2

yeah, tried them and no joy. Tried 40 breakers in the UK no joy also so i am going down the route of finding a specialist now :( bummer!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,884 ✭✭✭101sean

You'll probably have to trawl ebay or the UK specialist breakers, if they are that much new, secondhand one from the UK if you add postage probably won't be far behind.

Ask on the Ireland section of LRA, couple guys on there break Series Land Rovers. Suspect you'll struggle though, try ebay. You can buy new from Exmoor Trim and the like if you have deep pockets.

    Hi
I,m looking for either a MF 35 or 135 as a restoration project for a group of teenagers with an interest in tractors. The condition of the tractor is unimportant as this will be a complete re-build.The only condition is that the tractor must be VERRRRRY cheap or better still 'free to take away' as all the money is being spent on the re-build.I can collect anywhere,so if anyone can help i'd be grateful and I will consider anything in any condition.

Well once again my Primistar has been broken into- they tried the old trick of smashing the passenger window and hitting the button on the dash but I've had it rewired so the rear would not open- My tools are locked in a job box in the rear which is welded to the floor however I am reliably informed that the only deterrent to these scumbags is the outside style lock that you might see on Eircom vans- Does anybody know someone who fits this type of lock? Price is a real issue as things are running on a fine line at the moment- is there any alternative to the €600.00 for 3 doors that a friend of mine said it would cost?
Any help would be much appreciated as I''m sick to the core of my stomache at this third attempt of someone trying to steal my livlihood, Y.
