Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I disagree, Flynn has very little tape as both a college QB and as an NFL QB for teams to accurately see his true value.

Because there is such a need this off season hes going to get the money. Still a massive gamble though.

Agree. He can't truly be appropriately graded but because of the "QB need" this year we will definitely see Flynn get a lot of money.

Rams and free-agent cornerback Cortland Finnegan reached agreement on a five-year deal worth about $50 million.

    Hefty enough deal.

He was a starter in his senior year in college, a year where he led the Tigers to a national championship. While he hasn't much tape in the NFL, he has the experience of sitting behind and learning from a guy people rate as the top QB in the NFL today. When he got his opportunities he took them.

People like to compare him to Kolb but its an unfair comparison because this guy showed at college level that he could handle pressure which is a big plus on his resumee that is missing from Kolbs.

Reggie Wayne stays in Indy, thats something to make Colts fans happy after a rough few weeks on top of a rough 2011 season.

Very surprised with this, considering some of the cuts they made yesterday.

Strange, strange decision to keep Wayne over Clark and Garcon, I'd have imagined both of those would have been more highly prized on most team's charts.

If I was a Colts fan I'd be seriously wondering what the holy hell is going on in the front office this past week, there's almost no rhyme or reason to all these cuts and re-signings now.

Clark was on a serious bit of wedge afaik. And eh, Reggie Wayne is a far superior WR than Garcon. The only thing Garcon has over him is youth.

Garcon was the superior receiver last season and for all his drops he has the potential to make spectacular plays. Wayne looks like a player about to fall off the deep end performance wise. I'd guess the Colts wanted Garcon to stay but the money he was offered by the Redskins - which had to be more than Royal or Morgan got - priced them out of the market. Wayne was the sloppy seconds in this situation. I'd still have took Clark all day over him, too.

Carlos Rodgers re-signs with the 49ers, 4 year deal however Blake Costanzo may be in his way out.

Costanzo has signed with the bears, don't understand 49ers not offering him a contract to be honest.

    also this from Schefter:

Raiders free agent WR Chaz Schilens is visiting 49ers, and Rams free agent WR Brandon Lloyd also is expected to visit San Francisco.

Meachem gone to the chargers, 4 year deal. Good pickup IMO.

    Royal got $12million/2years
    Garcon got $42million/5years
    Morgan got $12.5million/2years

Crazy money for three average WRs - but that is the Redskins - champions of free agency (and Shanahan did it with the Broncos too and they have just clear the dead cap money four years later).

I see that Tampa Bay expect to wrap up the signing of Saints guard Carl Nicks soon. Looks like they're getting some nice deals done this offseason.

Yep, all they need now is for Josh Freeman to start playing like a QB again. running out of excuses with all these signings.

This makes for some interesting draft day news. Will Blackmon be gone at 4 or will he slide? If he does slide does this rule out the Bucs picking him up and the Rams get him at 6.

Ben Grubbs is visting the Saints according to Aaron Wilson. A loss for the Ravens if he goes, but they were always expecting it to happen despite offering him a ''substantial deal''.

Ravens are also looking at having a meeting with Texans LT Eric Winston, if he doesn't agree a deal with Dolphins first.

Bucs would take Claiborne before they took Blackmon. I'd say Claiborne more upside and addresses a much bigger need. Looks like Blackmon will be there for Rams now.

Jason Campbell joins the Bears to backup Jay Cutler.

    Savage move by the Bears.

Strange move by Campbell, outside of Manning and Flynn he's the best QB on the market. I'd have thought he'd at least be in a competition to start for a team, he's a better QB than a lot have given him credit for.

He is solid, and definitely one of the top 32 QBs in the world. But he has been bouncing around some bad situations, and this option allows him to be involved with a team that could compete and, let's face it, Cutler's injury record suggest that playing time is likely.

Didn't know Winston was meeting with the Dolphins. If they got him, the Pats would no longer have the best O-line in the AFC. Would also mean they don't have to take Riley Reiff with the #8 pick, and could look at at Michael Floyd, or even Ryan Tannehill if Manning and Flynn end up elsewhere.

Trent Cole signs a four year extension with the Eagles. Delighted with that move and once again we lock up one our key players before he's able to hit the market. Cole and Babin are two of the best ends in the league and to have them signed and sealed for the next three years gives us a good defensive platform....if only we could get a LB!

Dolphins got the first visit because of his University of Miami past, according to the same Aaaron Wilson article. KC Chiefs and St Louis Rams also very interested.

Bears have signed Eric Weems. Wonder if Emery is working a deal to trade Hester?

Doesn't make sense to have both, does it?

Peter King on Twitter saying that Mario Williams was seen leaving Buffalo Medical Group office this morning...So that looks a done deal

Also, Schefter reports that Paul Soliai is heading to visit Denver. Cmon Elway, lock this up.

Filed to ESPN: Lions reached agreement with WR Calvin Johnson on a seven-year, $132 million extension that includes $60 million guaranteed.

    Paid.

Yep, good bit of business to get him locked in for a few years.

Interested to see where Lloyd and Robinson end up

    Just some clarification.
Its a brand new contract for 8 years, not an extension. It will save the Lions $9 million cap space for the season.
Glad that it has been finally sorted at last:)

That does seem like an awful lot of money to spend on a wide-out. How much did Larry Fitz get when he got new deal in the last year or 2? Megatron now better paid than an awful lot of qb's.

Gaither back for the chargers, if he stays interested will be a great renewal.
