Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wind deflectors on. LED parking lights along with the standard bulbs actually makes a huge difference. LEDS inside 2 x white and 1 x blue, they're all in the front of the car (back are still standard, when I get LEDs in there it'll be like a bloody christmas tree :D

Picked up this little bad boy on Tuesday. A6 S-Line Ultra. 190bhp 7 speed s-tronic gear box. AFAIK the first Ultra in Ireland. Love it. All set for few subtle mods over the next few weeks.

Audi are phasing out the old 177bhp Multitronic combination with the ultra. It has the same 2.0 litre lump but now produces 190bhp torque upped also mated to 7 speed s-tronic. I hope to get it remapped when it comes available. Fully loaded inside, leather, nav, mmi, etc.

Looks good man although I'm not sure about the reg plate. I understand the look you're going for but it's a bit wide, no?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,699 ✭✭✭advertsfox

Got up nice and early to clean the car inside and out. Unfortunately I don't have the supplies to clean the outside myself but there are a group of lads at the back of the Gala on the Ratoath / Ashbourne road that do a kick ass wash and dry for €6 (I always give €10).

The inside is now sparkling clean with some Black Ice fresheners. New mats and LEDs have been ordered too, thing takes 9 festoons - nice and simple :)

I see what you mean, its not as noticeable in real life and I want to keep things legal, but I take your point. I might see if I can put it down a bit more also.

    :pac:

Its in reverse order of arrival! The 156 is that lovely Nuvola Blue, the 145 is a 2.0 Cloverleaf, the XK8 is a 4.0 non supercharged (with a lovely green leather interior) and the 308 is here since 2006! The 308 is a fibreglass, carb'd, dry sumped. Not many about in RHD! Certainly very few in Ireland.

Ah its deadly. Picked it up for €800, and put front wishbones, discs, pads, tyres and exhaust on it, super little yoke, and handles like a kart.

Paint on roof and bonnet has started to fade a bit, particularly the roof.

The top row closest the gearknob is the 2 aircon knobs and 12v socket. Next row is electric aerial, fan speed, hazards and wiper speed, and lower sliders are heater controls for each side, and direction.
