Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Navarre, thank you so much for sharing. My 18 yr old daughter has read this book (her Xmas present for last yr) and she missed out on a chance to hear him speak already this year because it clashed with school exams. Thank you for alerting us to this. Hopefully she will get a ticket to go.

I heard Tomi speak in Gorey a few months ago and I would highly recommend going to this. My teenage daughter and I are going again and I am bringing the family . His message is as relevant today as it would have been 70 years ago.

There's a group that put on rock gigs every month in Mooney's in Wexford town (Called Wex Rox), there's one this Friday that I'm playing. It'll be very loud, and hopefully a lot of fun, so I hope to see some of you Wexford metal heads there.

Not sure whether to give it a thread all on its own or simply put a fogra anseo.

Vincent Brownes Peoples Debate pre-records this Monday night the 9th of November (for broadcast Wednesday night the 11th at 10pm) in Whites Hotel.

Doors open at 7pm; no ticket necessary.

    art%2Btrail.jpg

The Enniscorthy Art Trail is a new trail promoting art within the town of Enniscorthy. It will coincide with Enniscorthy Rockin' Food Festival during the August Bank Holiday weekend from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th.
The Art Trail will use vacant and existing buildings within the town, reimagining what a gallery space is; that it does not always have to be a white walled cubed venue.
The Art Trail will take place in various locations from disused property on Slaney Street and Castle Street to existing used spaces such as St Mary’s Church and The Presentation Centre, with venues being open from 12 Noon to 4pm each day.
Eight professional artists will showcase their art with the opportunity for the public to meet, ask questions and purchase work. Free workshops, talks, music and art performances along with an interactive creative doodle space will be on offer as events to attend.
Oonagh Latchford, Seven Victor, Lisa Byrne, Larry Dunne, Emma Howe, Martina Furlong, Kate Tyrrell and Nadia Corridan are the selected fine artists on show with the addition of musician Noel Quaid.

This free event has been going for a few years now and is happening again this Saturday 18th. If the weather is nice its a great way to spend a few hours.

Worth joining in even in bad weather!

Yellow Vests started up in Wexford today.

From this video > https://www.facebook.com/269250170606171/videos/387420938690482/ it appears they were doing little more than standing around blocking traffic at a crossroads.

Lots of vehicles blowing their horns; they were most definitely NOT in support of these gobsheens!

As for yer man in the ORANGE jacket? Clearly didn't get the memo!

As heard at 4 minutes in from a frustrated motorist "Get the **** off the road you daft c***s!" was shouted; to which they responded, in an effort no doubt to get people on their side "that's another five minutes".
