Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You could also look out for a Mulberry Stoker door. I had one for 10 years in front of a Grant back boiler and it was great. They have an enamel finish in colours so brightens up the room. They still make them. I sold mine on Done Deal and one comes around every now and then.

Thank you. I'll keep an eye out for a secondhand one. Brand new is too expensive for me. I'll see if I can get more recommendations before I make any decision. Thank you again

Some of these are specified for woodburning. Light steel doors. If you use stove nuggets or smokeless coal, things can get hot. You want to be sure the fire is held back from the door with a grate with a front upright grid. My grant back boiler which really only warmed the radiators can now substantially heat the house on a mix of dry wood and a sprinkle of stove nuggets, though oil is the main source of heat. There's an overpriced used one on Dondeal, maybe worth half of what they're asking.
