I have 8000 euro in prize bonds -- they've been sitting there for a year -- and I have won 75 twice and 250 once.

    decent..more than a bank etc.

Ah here - what's going on - that's a great glitch in the system!
    27 March 1 X €50
    3rd April 2 X €50
    9th April 1 X €50

Long live the glitch! Hope the glitch works positively for you all today and for all the months ahead!

Happy and safe Easter to all.

Would appreciate if you could direct that glitch in my direction. 0 again today.
Think I will cash in and buy back 1 large batch to see if the new ones will change my luck.
    Stay safe everyone.

€50 for me today from my Big Bunch.

Prize Value Winning Prize Bond Location
    €50 MC927809 Louth

My last win was 13 March, including a very close number to today's winner.
    €50 MC927658 Louth
    €50 MC937587 Louth

Newest winning number this week ARM085800. Last week it was ARJ638567. Difference 2,447,233, sales of approx €15,295,200. That's another 2.5 million new bonds chasing the extra 100 or so prizes added last week.

I counted the number of winners in each of the million bonds in the ARA to ARL series, total of 12 million bonds. Total 100 wins, best ARD 13, worst ARG 4. Anyone thinking of getting new bonds for old in the expectation that they will perform better, my advice don't bother.

Nothing today on 100k, nothing for 3 weeks now, expecting a massive wave of inflation after the current crisis aswell, WTF are you supposed to do?

It seems that Tuisginideach and I are subject to the same glitch - another win yesterday - don't think I've ever had two in a row let alone three in a row!

    Wins on 9th April 2020: €50
    Previous last win - 3rd April 2020: €50
    Weeks since last win: 1
€134k invested in prize bonds since July 2017
Win ratio: 18 wins in 145 weeks (12%)
    2017 (Jul-Dec): 5 x €50 = €250
    2018 (Jan-Dec): 4 x €50 = €200
    2019 (Jan-Dec): 5 x €50 = €250
    2020 (Jan-date): 4 x €50 = €200

Forgot about yesterday's draw, anyway login today and congratulations, won €50euro, first win in 2020 after months of nothing, now it's going to be interesting as this is first win since I signed up to payment into bank account as cheques are no longer issued. I received a letter stating that all my bonds have been included in all draws since purchase, eh very reassuring lol

I was given a 10 punt prize bond by my grandmother that shes held since the 70s or 80s with zero wins.

You can login online these days and check ?
Im assuming it never won because they never sent us any check or letter.
    They never had bank details.

I got my new bond today for the 09 April draw ARM601402 to 409. The last one I got for the 13 March draw was AQZ313996. That is over 13 million new bonds in less than a month, around €81 million sales.

We had a discussion before about the phasing out of letters. This link may have been on the website at the time, or it could be newer.

    https://www.statesavings.ie/help-support/help-articles/what-happens-if-i-choose-automatic-reinvestment-of

    What is a Winning Leaflet?
A Winning Leaflet is enclosed with all new Bond Certificates and serves as confirmation that the Bond Certificate is the result of a prize win. The Winning Notice provides information on prize payment methods and how to find winning Bond Numbers.

Why do I not get letter with my winning Bond Number?
In line with cessation of prize cheques in February 2020, Prize Bonds took the opportunity to reduce the amount of post being issued to customers by replacing the prize notification letter with a ‘Winning Leaflet’ enclosed with the new Bond Certificate.
The introduction of the ‘Winning Leaflet’ reduces the amount of post you receive when you win a prize while still letting you know efficient and sustainable ways of finding your winning Bond Number i.e. our online prize checking facilities and by phoning us.

I bought a chunk of these recently as I got frustrated with how low savings interest rates are. I'm thinking having a chance of a "prize" each week is a lot more fun than seeing a teeny bit of interest added to my account once a year.

Will update here if I have any luck, fingers crossed!

Nothing for me. Two weeks in a row with none of the regulars here winning anything?

Newest winner today ARQ745969, last week ARO727492. Difference 2,018,461, sales of around €12.6 million. Not much over normal times.

16 million new bonds ARA to ARP won 141 prizes. Best ARC and ARM both 14, worst ARD 5.

Nothing here again. Got another batch....really believed that a new lot would surely change the luck. They have now been in 2 draws as well as all the previous lots. Nothing. Have filled in the encashment form today for some of the smaller lots. Very disappointing.

i take it all the regular contributors on here have quite substantial investments,i had over 130k invested myself for a long time with mixed results ,i'm down to 66k at the moment and not really getting a sniff so be wary if you are thinking of a small sum invested ie 10/20k-you'll be disappointed!(but then again you never know )

I found some reinvestment letters going back to 2017 which I had put aside for shredding. No need to open them as the bonds arrive the same week. The return address on the outside of the envelopes is PO Box 501 Killarney.
