Selling this for a friend as he is not on Boards (with permission from other mods).


As per the title it's a Savage Model 10 FCP in .308 caliber. I had one of these rifles myself and sold it to another Boards.ie member. One of the few rifles i regret selling. The accuracy and performance of this rifle is outstanding. It'll take any bullet and still give outstanding results at any distance up to and including 800 yards (the distances i shot it to).

The rifle is in storage in Atlantic shooting in Carlow and has been there for 6 months and in Stakelums for 18 months prior to that. IOW the rifle has not been fired in 2 years, and was bought, brand new, 2 years before that from Jim Griffin in Rahan.

The Hawke Sidewinder & rings are being sold with the rest. However it's not on the gun, but can be fitted prior to any deal. The rest of the kit is as follows:
