Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Still enough of the 'get in the hole' mob there though.

Mash potato and oesophagus were on a boat to Kiawah Island and the boat capsized, they never learnt to swim but kept calling each other til they drowned, RIP ****heads.

Gutted for Michael Hoey. He had shot a round of 70 yesterday to get right back in the tournament. Disqualified for not recreating the lie after removing his ball from an embedded lie to confirm it was his on the 8th. Card signed before he was told of the infringement.

edit: Just saw on his twitter page that he realised the mistake himself and informed the pga himself.
Anyway gutted for the guy who had played better than nearly everyone in the field yesterday even considering what would have been 2 shot penalty.

Looks like Luke Donald's wait for a first major will go on for another season. Finished at +6 and is most likely out. Westwood could follow him.

I was a bit hasty. +6 was the cut line in the end so Donald is still in the field. Westwood is out though, finished +8.

Some reaction from the players after yesterday. Bring on the weekend.

I'm surprised Poulter didn't bitch about it. That's all he seems to do these days.

Probably because he's bang in contention.

McIlroy will be delighted with that 75 yesterday. He was a bit all over the place and it was a round he could easily have left slip to a 78 or 79. To be only 2 off the lead going into weekend is a nice place to be. Good to see G Mac right up there as well

He should try and use a hockey stick to putt, might have more luck. :pac:

Everyone uses twitter to boast about their lifestyle and how well they played. Poulter was boasting that he shot a 71 in tough conditions. Rory boasts in every single tweet that's ever written. It's all cringe-worthy stuff, really.

Think I will give it a go myself in the morning if it will give me -4 through 7 holes!!

Glad to see Jamie Donaldson up on the leaderboard, seemed like a sound guy at the Irish Open. A top 10 finish in a major would be a great boost to his career

Horrific 11th too. However the website says he's parred it.

This would be an awful break for Rory

It'd be some par, at least he's given himself a good chance.

I'm still trying to figure out how he could have parred it if he hit it in there

They said on Sky that putt was for birdie but it couldn't have been.

    First in the tree.
    Declared unplayable.
Drops back, keeping the flag and where ball lay in tree in a line.
    Hits 3 to 6 feet.
    Sinks putt for par.

    Harrington...

Pause for the storm, the 3 Irish lads are doing pretty well at the moment (should have been more patriotic with my betting haha).

Storm probably came in at the right time for Woods though. On a bit of a downward curve at the moment.

Saw some of it. He got a few bad breaks in fairness and the par saving putts weren't dropping like yesterday. Needs to compose himself because he's not out of it. He has a tricky putt to save par when he re-starts.

I was enjoying it. any news on restart?

They are showing tiger on the first tee now, i haven't heard of a restart. They think he won't get finished today as it gets dark pretty quickly about 8

McIlroy has this in the bag if he keeps this form up.

Wonder how Scott will react this time being close to the lead? Will he blow up again? :P
