Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My son's school has the first confirmed case of swine flu in Mayo! Guess we're probably exposed already so I'm giving up worrying.

He'll get his summer hols early this year! :D

    Funny 1+.

Seriously, how you feeling. Is it bad? It's already 16 cases of Swine Flu here.

I've family from Tallaght myself, I wasn't just randomly insulting it :P

Yeah I'm not too bad now thanks, much better than I have been.. still a bit heady; feeling a bit sick/tired but nothing major.

16? I didn't know there were any in Ireland! It's just over 600 in Birmingham, something like 1,100 throughout Britain (trust me to be stuck in the worst affected place!)

Unfortunately it's coming closer and closer, hope it won't escalate...

Hold on there, drink lots of fluids, warm whiskey can help too...

It hasn't killed anyone in Europe that hasn't already had other health complications so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

So turns out I didn't have Swine Flu before

How do I know that? Because I've got it now :D
    Speak to your GP urgently
Your answers suggest you need to speak with your GP urgently. If your surgery is closed you should follow their instructions for contacting the emergency doctor.

You must tell the GP that you have recently travelled to (or live in) an area of high swine flu risk or that you have been in contact with someone known to have, or suspected of having swine flu.
