I have an idea of how much it is worth but want to see what the guys on here think. All the best quality components and the case is a modders dream.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,504 ✭✭✭✭DirkVoodoo

I would have guessed around €900 to 950.

    Abit AW9D-MAX Intel 975X (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard....€180 new, €120 2nd hand.
    Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.40GHz (1066FSB) - Retail...€200 new, run at stock so €150.
    Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2-6400C4 TwinX (2x1GB)...€120 new, €80.
Sapphire RADEON X1900XT 512MB...I have same card, great! Can't remember new, €150.
    Creative X-Fi XtremeMusic Soundcard...€54 new, I'm interested...€0.99, nah...€40.
    Antec NeoHE 500W Modular ATX2.0 PSU...€115 new, €80.
    Zalman CNPS9500LED Ultra Quiet Heatsink...€40 new, €30.
Western Digital 250GB SATA Hard Drive...€60 new, €40.
Lian-Li PC V1000 Aluminium Midi-Tower - Silver...fantastic case, if mint then it aint gonna lose much. Can't get OCUK price, site not responding.
    Sony DVD-RW/CD-RW 16x (I think)....meh.

Justification. Mobo and CPU still very good. GFX card a bit outdated with DX10 around the corner, 500W PSU good but better available now (seasonic, corsair, etc.) DDR2 now ridiculously cheap (we have a lot of the same components), zalman cooler not the best anymore to they did pioneer the modern quiet cpu cooler. HDD also very cheap these days, V1000 a priceless case.

EDIT: Forgot the Vista, but ive factored in a bit of error into the overall estimation, some of my guesses my have been a bit off :(.

            Alright guys, here's the rig:
            -C2D E6600
            -DFI Infinity P965-S
            -EVGA 8800GTS 640MB
            -2GB Crucial Ballistix
            -2x 320GB Hitachi Deskstar 16MB Cache SATA 3Gbps
-Corsair HX620 620 watt modular PSU
            -16x DVD-Rom SATA
            -Sunbeam Rheobus fan contoller
-Lian-Li V1000 Silver, modded to house the rads

            -Water Cooling loop:
-Laing DDC2 (Swiftech MCP355) with petra's aftermarket top
            -2x Swiftech MCR220 rads
            -D-tek Fuzion CPU block
            -Swiftech MCW60 VGA Block + 8800 Ramsinks
            -Swiftech Microres
            -7/16" Masterkleer tubing

And I don't know if this is a selling point, but I've got some sweet UV cold cathodes in there and some blue UV water dye and cable sleeving ;) . Just curious to see how much it's depreciated in value in the past 2 months, might sell if I get a decent offer.

            what's a xfx 7800GT worth?

Probably about anything from 100-140 depending on where you sell it....might get 120-150 if its AGP rather then pci-e.
            AMD64 3500
            Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe
            4x 512MB XMS Corsair
            256MB PCI-E 6800GT

About 170- 200? If its just those components and no case etc...

In the next couple of weeks I will be building my new E6400 Core Duo 2GB RAM Vista system, rather than porting the components across from my old machine I am looking to start completely afresh with the old monitor and am looking to sell this machine.

            The specs are:
            - Intel Celeron 341 2.93Ghz CPU
            - MSI 7071 Motherboard with Built in Sound, Lan and Graphics
            - 768MB PC4100 RAM
            - 80GB HD
            - ATI Radeon 9650 AGP Graphics
            - Phillips Solidburn CD/DVDRW Drive
            - Logitech Keyboard & Mouse
            - 56K Modem
            - Floppy Drive
            - 6x USB Ports
            - Mini Tower Case

I will also be pre-installing the following OEM software on the machine (It will be formatted prior to sell)
            - Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP2
            - Microsoft Works
            - HP Photosmart Premier
            - Norton Antivirus 2006

How much do you reckon I would get for that? Any better for throwing in another 160GB HD. The HD would be another IDE that I am planning to use in my new system, but if I get enough for the old system I might plump for a nice shiny new SATA drive.

id pay around 1200ish for it second hand id say, assuming all is well with it. why u sellin summit so new???

im cursed with the same computer bug, ill sell if the price is right to upgrade my pc,:

            my sig below??...how much???

I'm not really planning on selling it just yet... but I was thinking about moving over to playing games on the console, and keep my main pc for FPS, just wanted to see what money I would have to invest in a console and some games. I'll have to see how it goes. I'll probably wait 2 months and then sell it, which, by then, the pc will only be worth €300, lol

Oh and post a full spec of your pc, like case, cooling, overclock, any other peripherals included and i'll give you an estimate.
