Hey Mike.

What kind of shooting? How long a distance? Factory rifle or partially custom or fully custom?

In terms of a target rifle they are good out to a short/medium distance. Like the .243 and even the .223. However if you are thinking of long distance stuff then you need to consider the staple caliber of these sports as lads have tried numerous ones over the years and the ones they use now have been shown to be the best at what they do.
