Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Plugs?

Ken O'Connell seems to me to run Business ventures that are particularly focussed on his Customers demands and interests.

He posts regularly on varied topics unrelated to his Businesses.

He serves particularly good pints and perfectly grilled Steaks.

    - He also has offered the Limerick City Forum free drink and finger food.

Lets not swallow the rulebook in order to cut off our noses to spite our drunken, finger-food smeared faces!!!

He's good at all that ^^^

Won't return my calls even though I keep dropping in business cards.

Yes it is. I'm considering going again to watch it for a second time. Between the munching and smell of nachos beside me, I missed the first 10 mins last time out. After that it was an epic film.

I agree. . . . A movie that makes you think doesnt come along too often. Just about managed to keep on top of it :) my friend fell asleep!

To the Mods.... Can we sticky this thread as an off-topic thread? And have mods relax within reason their
enforcement of part (7)of the Charter? I think it would be beneficial to this section of boards.

I'll sticky it for a while, but if it's busy every day it should stay near the top of the front page anyway. I'll try to relocate silly/off-topic/chatty posts here instead of leaving them in serious threads.
I'd like to keep Rule #7 in place to remind people that trolling is frowned upon. Silly replies can be hilarious, but they're not much help to people with genuine queries!

Cheers, It would be nice to have a place here where you can make a non offensive light hearted comment and banter without getting an infraction for making a funny.

How about a random thread to allow people waffle on and talk about general chit chat/ unworthy thread starter topics?
Its just an idea, could help keep the other threads to their relevant topic!

I'm going to use this thread right now to give out about two things.

Yesterday, using the toll on the tunnel road. Sitting 5 cars back had to wait for about 3 mins for 1 car to get through. No problem, these things happen. Other cars behind, move along no problem until the car in front of me. Car pulls up to barrier, then i see the driver reach over, pull out her handbag, and she spends 2 MINUTES searching for the money. WHAT THE F*CK WAS SHE DOING WHILE THE OTHER CAR WAS STUCK??

Secondly. The amount of people double parking outside the newly refurbished Bank Of Ireland in the Free Zone West industrial estate, so that can save themselves 5 seconds of walking. PARK IN THE DESIGNATED PARKING SPACES YOU ****S

    There. I feel better. Slightly.

awh, that sounds so nice. I wanna do that!

I'm just askin cos I was half kinda thinking that maybe we could have an impromptu meet up..............?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,097 ✭✭✭✭zuroph

    result of
    a) clash of head during a mess fight in the high stool a number of years ago. Got the nose reset but the septum didnt follow
    and
    b) knee to the face while wrestling onstage at Electric Picnic last summer. didnt even notice til an hour later when i realised I was bleeding.

If it would only stop bleeding i'd be delighted. Surgeon looks like niall quinn, quite funny. Female doc looks like Ellen Page. nice.

EDIT: hoping to get out in time for my mates 30th birthday tomorrow, although I can't go on the bouncey castle anyway now :(
