Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Server Project #1: Secure the town!

    As you may have noticed, the town isn't very safe right now. There are a couple of things we need to do.

    DoLo9.png

    Build town walls:
    Where these will go where I've marked in purple on the above map. For now any material will do; wood, dirt, cobble. It needs to be 3 blocks high and well lit.

    Build town roads:
    These are marked in teal on the map. They need to be 3 wide and made with wood or sandstone.

    Light up the town:
    Everywhere inside the walls needs to be lit up with torch spam. Get your coal and charcoal and start making stacks of them. Leave nowhere for mobs to spawn.

    Agreed. It would be cool in a single player but it would just not work on the server.

    Are the exterior walls complete?

    Those settlers across the river have been eyeing up my house for the past couple of days .... I think we should build that wall higher and keep them out! :P

    I'm having the dreaded crashing issue again out of nowhere. Was on for about 20 mins on Friday before it went and froze up on me :(

    Yeah I'm having a similar issue. Every 20 minutes my MC is telling me that I'm running out of memory. I have raised the memory I'm giving it to 2GB but I'm having the same issue!

    It's on the list of known bugs on the wiki...probably be fixed sometime next year. I have serious issues with keys sticking (also a known bug in the game...which I find very odd) and making me slide off ledges etc. Also the shift key sticking when I'm trying to sort out my inventory and I have to smack the shift key again to stop it. I'd blame my keyboard if the bug list didn't exist :O

    Laura, if you ever recover sufficiently to get on the server today could you please add cnc to the door signs? I keep logging on to find cnc smiling at me in a creepy way in our house and new holes in the windows! :eek:
