Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    4v4 hmmm...
    It would be amazing if it was a tag match with 8 players, *sings* LAST MAN STANDING, wins for the team, very MVC2 style. no assists or jump kicking into the fight though, do a tekken tag when they just run in & out. A use for the D-pad, each arrow on the D pad represents a team member, press to tag!

    For arcade stick users, iunno, something like, hold down LB&RB & move the joystick?

    I'm not 100% sure about this but here's my attempt at describing it:

    Team A vs Team B, Team A consists of Players A1, A2, etc., Team B consists of Players B1, B2, etc. A1 plays B1, A2 plays B2, and so on. If there is an even number of players on each team there exists the possibility of a tie - in the case of a 2-on-2 match-up the tie is broken by having the winners play off against each other. If there is a tie in a 4-on-4 match there is a 2-on-2 match involving the winners of each game, and if that results in a tie then it is broken in the manner described above.

    me too actually. mainly cause gouken now has that so it's a bit odd 2 of them having it. Also as its an ultra and theres no super canceling, I kinda pictured an srk fadc where they fly into the air, and ryu dashes under them and does his ultra tatsu and they land into it...........kinda thing....

    Yeah, that'd be cool. I mean has srk ever really been Ryu's "thing" anyway? I thought that was always ken's signature thing (that and being cheap :P)

    I love SF as much as anyone here but Capcom seriously need to put in a couple of new stages,just like Namco did with Tekken 6 BR. Characters sharing stages...urghh..I thought we saw the last of that in SF Alpha 1.:mad:

    The "Ryu's the ultimate fireball guy" seems to have been degraded in 4 no end. It's more that Ryu's signature is single, hard strikes and Ken's is multiple hit, low damage strikes.

    That's how it's supposed to work, anywho.

    Yeah thats what Ryu needs, another easy FADC into ultra :)

    They ARE putting in new stages.
    And the "break the car" and "destroy the barrels" stages are back, too!

    If Blanka got something like that I don't think it would matter he probably would not be able to recover in time to take advantage of it. They should have Blanka's normal ball knockdown on hit though, make it safe.

    All the new stuff looks good. New Announcer doesn't bother me. Game modes are what was badly need and should help build the community.

    Nothing new with just showing off moves and ultra's in the trailers. They did the same in SF IV. People playing the game are probably not pro's and haven't figured out how the characters play and besides even if they did the characters move properties will probably change several times before release so even if they could play at a high level it would show us nothing of value.

    Hopefully they do add Dudley, I find Balrog incredible dull in SF IV compared to his ST version, we need a non charge boxer character who doesn't have to worry about charge.

    I know what you're saying Azza but this is probably the third set of videos I have seen featuring the same characters, same specials, supers, and ultras- need something a little different to keep up the hype, kthnxbai. It's just varying degrees of quality.

    Does no one else want the 3S grade system back, nothing like getting a nice shiny B,C,A or SS, it would really give the game more life. Right now the separate grades seem really un reliable. Theyre not styled or displayed right.no emphasis.

    The grading algorithm in sf3 wasnt accurate mind you, but i just think it would really be cherry on top for sf4

    I doubt they will make blanka ball knock down but they really need to make ex upball knock down. Its going to be exciting checking out the changes made to the current characters when it comes out.

    Yeah looking forward to seeing what changes the current cast get.

    I think everyone knows what changes they want for there own characters and we almost certainly will be disappointed, particularly if certain match ups that are even now get screwed up.

    Yeah. Going in expecting/ demanding certain fixes is only going to lead to toys being thrown out of prams.

    I'm really looking forward to the initial few months of hopping between characters and finding the one who works for me. It may shock people but I'm not a Guile purist.
