Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Esker Hills outside Tullamore are having an "Agusta Special" to coincide with Shane Lowrys participation in Agusta. Full details on their website. Might head to it myself so will stick up a post in the Arrange a game thread.

Anthony Martin (Kinsealy Grange) has a deal on lessons with Just Golf - 2 for €29. Good teacher and a good guy!

NB: You have to pay for range balls, so factor that one in.

Not sure if this is the best place to post this but free golf lessons.

To grab your free lessons all you need to do is:
    • Download the app from the Apple App Store Click Here (Android coming next month)
    • Find an Irish golf pro you like and hit 'Book Session' - You will then see the pro's calendar
    • Free lesson slots = Gold - Days with free lessons available will be circled gold.
    • Grab your free lesson - Hit book and secure your lesson slot.
That's it. Get a free golf lesson to improve your game, just as the season is about to kick off properly.

Today's deal on Amazon, Garmin Approach S3 GPS Golf Watch - Dark Grey/Red at £139, the amount will rise a little for Irish VAT although the odd time when it's a lightening deal it does not...today 02.04.15

With Sterling to euro so sh1t, you can buy on Amazon.de for 190e which will work out slightly cheaper than the lightening deal. Still works out 70e cheaper than Mcguirks. Bit of a bargain.

This is a golf shop up in Letterkenny, buy something before Wednesday and if McIlroy wins the masters, you get a voucher for the full amount back.

    10390429_1621052661460622_6091557132566373497_n.png?oh=a7fc8280c4aa81e472546482e39f9f1f&oe=55B60461&__gda__=1436075754_c2cf42a6291014242e4064855455bd56

Before anyone asks, I haven't been in that shop for years, so I have no idea of the range of equipment and there is no online shop either. I'm off Wednesday and i'll head in, if it covers clothes as well, I'll probably pick up something.

I'm wondering does anyone know of any good deals on rangefinders?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,449 ✭✭✭Ivefoundgod

Does anyone know what the story is with mcguirks site? I was looking at irons on Sunday night but when I went on Monday all of the sets were gone from the site and still not back. This includes all titleist irons and loads of Taylor's and Callaways, are they updating the site or what's the story?

Golfstyle in galway are selling the older(2015/2016) ProV1 and ProV1x's for 40 euro. great balls and i doubt the amateur could tell the difference between these and the new ones.

Sorry for digging up an old thread didn't see the point in starting a new one. :)

To answer my own question - orders over €79 are delivered FOC; orders under €79 have a €6.50 delivery charge.
