Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does anyone have the winter tights, and how do you rate them?

How were the ones from last year? Are they warm/what is the fit size-is it like castelli where you go one size up from normal?

    Cheers

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,478 ✭✭✭rollingscone

Nope. Normal sizing...I'm an XL in the bibs/tights and a 2XL in the Jerseys.

I've got the 3/4 bib knickers from last years order, I found them very good so far, not so warm that you won't be able to use them for most of the year but warm enough to do on Christmas and Stephen's day last year.

Wizard, you've probably passed me on the Canal enough times to use me as a size guide ;)

Also, yep I'm a sucker, entropa gilet and standard arm/leg warmers ordered.

I'm interested depending on the price. (big tights, ls jersey and probably the gilet too)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,259 ✭✭✭Hunterbiker

The spreadsheet is on the 1st post - it has all the details including the prices on the tabs.

Can everyone see the spreadsheet / edit it?

What's the latest date for ordering/paying?

My laptop is busted and I'm not sure how to edit the spreadsheet from my phone so can someone stick me down for a hat please?

    Lads.
Sorry to those who have PM'd or just asked on thread for the end date.

I think if we look to close this off on the last Friday of September (26th) (i.e all money accounted for by Boards HQ by then) then we have a little leeway before getting the order off on 1st October.

Ending last Friday in September (hopefully) helps those waiting for payday.

So don't be shy get the orders on to the spreadsheet. I will contact you very soon with payment details.

Dublin, northside and city centre for work generally but can travel. I'll otherwise assume it's similar sizing to Gabba and just debate which one is better/more versatile

What's the story with posting or not posting? Is there a collection location or arrange to meet somewhere?

Edit: Just say it in FAQ's sheet on my phone. It wasn't showing up on my PC. Possibly blocked in work.

Another noob question, but how do we work payment? If someone is fronting it, I can sort them out now?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,289 ✭✭✭koutoubia

If it is like the last orders you pay into Boards bank a/c and boards pay Lucca Sports.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,407 ✭✭✭OldBean

    Perfect! Cheers K

    Hi
I will send out the bank details either later this week or on Monday. I was just going to do the PMs at the same time. You pay your money directly to Boards - there's a note on the spreadsheet.

Presume Boards HQ is smack bang in Dublin city somewhere operating 9 - 5 Monday to Friday ?

Thanks for the offer. I'll see if I can get out that direction anytime soon that would suit. Currently moving back home so a bit a busy. I'm XL in Gabba ( or at least that's what I get on)

    Hi
I've sent out the bank details to the people who have orders on the spreadsheet. Please let me know if you didn't get one and are on the list.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,259 ✭✭✭Hunterbiker

There is a username missing on the ordersheet - It's the line below Rogue Trooper's order.
Can whoever it is pop their name back in? If you no longer want the gear just remove the items.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,259 ✭✭✭Hunterbiker

All payments due by 1st October.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,259 ✭✭✭Hunterbiker

    Hey lads
Still some time left to pop an order in.
Thanks a million for all the PMs and messages from those that have ordered.
    Cheers!

What size Entropa jacket would you suggest for a 6'1" chap of skinny build (32"-33" waist, 36" chest)? I usually end up with slightly baggy clothes just to get enough sleeve length. Not very fond of very tight fits anyway.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,259 ✭✭✭Hunterbiker

    His
There is an informal tab on the spreadsheet on the 1st post.
Following the link to the website page for the jacket. There is a size guide. I'm not experts but looking at the measurements it would be as but have a look and judges for yourself. The fit is not tight tight but it is fitted according to the site.

Quick question, might help speed up payments as well. For anyone who has previously paid to boards paypal account, can we use that again?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,259 ✭✭✭Hunterbiker

I didn't ask Dav about Paypal only the bank transfer option.
At this stage I'd like to keep it simple and keep the payment arrangements as they are.

    Hi

Am I too late to jump on this?

If not, do we have to specify the Cut (Racing, Club, Sport) for a Jersey as well as the size or is it a pre-determined cut that we have to provide the size for?

    Cheers

hi Not too late at all :)

On the Info Tab is a link to the website page for each garment on the order. You'll see the info re Cut there. Standard jersey os Sports Cut (Info on spreadsheet).
make the order and I will PM you payment instructions.
    Thanks

Sorry if this has been covered already but there seems to be a discrepancy in their sizing for the Elite Sports Cut - the M is 41-43, the L is 39-41 and XL 44-46.

Is that a typo on the site?

I'm a 42 but in the last order (for a Core Relaxed) i got an XL.

    Cheers

I have PM'd Marcofan for clarification

Marcofan PM'd me and said it's a typo / mix-up between those sizes (Medium and Large).

  • Registered Users Posts: 581 ✭✭✭fillup

Thanks for clarifying that for me

Is it ok if i place my order later tonight - i'm in work at the mo and would need to give this the once over from home before committing

    Is that ok?
