If Murphy doesn't start against Wales, then something is wrong.

It would be a crime, that debate is over. Superb, and all the stand out players the new blood. Finally we may have turned a corner....

His attacking today is spot on but his defensive play seriously lacking. With Bowe and Kearney both having stormers, where does Murphy fit in? He's not defending enough to play FB IMO

He's directly responsible for 2 of the tries IMO. I don't think you can single him out defensively - what have Scotland done bar 1 try?

Murphys catches from Garry Owens are excellent, he really should start against wales

O'Driscoll off, Heaslip off, Reddan off, Stringer on, Easterby on, Horgan on

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,420 ✭✭✭✭athtrasna

Is Heaslip injured? No other reason I can think of for bringing the pensioner on!

    Shaggy back...this will be interesting!

So while most of us damn EOS if he doesn't play the subs, you damn him if he does. It's a 22 man game these days, well 21 man anyway. Any manager is foolish to only play 15 or 16 when he has fresh legs on the bench!

Agreed, this match is over - rest the players for next week.

Edit: E.G.We lost the GS last year because we left BOD on too long against Wales

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 373 ✭✭The1337_Stephen

Exactly, plus it gives a few of the guys who have been out for awhile, like Horgan and O'Connell some match play

Feel a bit sorry for Paddy Wallace, will he ever get a run out?

    ah there he is!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,699 ✭✭✭Santa Claus

And yet Paddy Wallace doesn't get his run-out !
Looks like he'll be the only man doing the warm down in Croker after the game as usual.

[EDIT] I'm in shock....EOS actually put Paddy on :o

Murphy gets MOTM deserves it i might add he really has stood out amongst everyone else.

Batten down the hatches for the media fight with EOS as to why Murphy will be dropped against Wales
