    does anyone else find the idea of the mooncup a little bit gross, like the whole take it out and wash it thing seems kinda odd to me.....

    I might give it a try for a while, I don't think it's anymore gross than a used tampon or towel. I thought it would be smaller for some reason, and I don't think sex would be an option with it in thats for sure! A pity really because I thought unmessy sex would be a big plus.

    Yes I do - from my image of it i can imagine it filling up then sploosh when you take it out. AM sure I am wrong but to me its like a urine bag after an operation

    Women don't loose THAT much blood per day with a period it just looks like more then it's all spread out and soaked up by a pad in truth it's about a shot glass full and a moon cup can cope with that ammount easily.

    Ah yeah, agreed. It's not the blood that bothers me, it's the pain. If the mooncup could relieve that I'd be very swiftly converted.

    Ah its not about squeamish, its just well horrible. I honestly would rather not have them at all. I know they serve a purpose but they **** you up a week every month. Messy fncking things.

    pads for the win!
    my mothers anti tampons till im older for some strange reason and the mooncup thing wuold put me off coz id be freaked out if i could feel it inside me.
