Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey there!
I'm wondering if there is anyone who would be willing to help me out with my psychology essay?
I'm doing first year arts with Psychology.
I've been working on my essay for almost two and a half weeks now and I'm not getting very far. The deadline is next Thursday. I'm starting to panic about it now, so if there is anyone who would be willing to meet up for a few hours I would greatly appreciate it. I live in Maynooth, so ideally we could meet up somewhere on campus. I don't have any money to offer unfortunately, but I am quite strong in English and Geography so I could be able to help out with these if they are an area of weakness maybe?
I'm sorry I can't afford to pay you, but any help is hugely appreciated. Email contact would be ok too, so you wouldn't have to give up too much time.
    Thanks in advance!
    Kellie

Java grinds or lessons available to people in Cork.

I graduated from UCC five years ago and have been working in a Java development position since - moving to lead developer position within 2 years. I have a lot of experience and am willing to give grinds to anybody who feels they need them. If you have course notes, you can send these to me in advance and I will examine them and ensure the grinds I give you are completely relevant.

Also, if anybody wants some guidance on your java course assignments, I can help with this too. I will not do these for you but I will help you get an understanding and start you on your way.

On a more basic note, if you simply have trouble 'getting' java, I can help you too.

    Hi all,

I have a Masters in Software Engineering, I completed my Masters course in NUIM graduated in september. For my masters course I had to give several tutorials to first and second year maths, and programming students at NUIM, so its not my first time teaching!

If anyone does need help, I would ideally like to take a group of 3-5 people, (I would be travelling from roscommon, so its not worth my while to travel for less than 3 people) and I would aim give the tutorials in the college on weekday evenings, probably after 6pm. (so I would not interfere with normal lecturers)

I have an extensive knowledge of the C# language, and an excellent knowledge of Java, if you are struggling from the basics like variables or IF statements, or more advanced object orientated material, I would be more than capable of helping!

Prices: for a group of 3/4, €20 per person. group of 5 or over, €15 per person.
Sessions will last roughly an hour. The bigger the group, the longer im willing to stay.

If you want any more info, or want to arrange a tutorial, sent me a PM, or email to frankcarty@gmail.com
