Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Need to be careful to ensure you are getting a bargain, stuff reduced might be just coming into line with other prices.

there was a 2TB Toshiba hard drive marked down to 29 in Nenagh. None on the shelf tho'

the Buffalo 500gb wireless was also marked down to 49.57 or so. Nearly bought it but then was trying to figure out what i'd actually use it for.

there were some philips led bulbs reduced to between 3 and 4 euro too

They were marked down to 169, then 159- and according to another poster on this thread- further reduced to 129...... which is a price point I am happy with.......

Galway is too far for me though :(

I got loads of LED Phillips light bulbs (E27 screw) 8W (to 48W) for 3.60, reduced from 20 euro.

The light seems strong, it is warm white so suitable for house and I got reductions on ebay from E27 to B22.

There were also other types reduced to something over 3 euro but they were all only 6W (25W). Got them in Clonmel.

Cue someone buying them all in the morning.

Then cue ads on donedeal/adverts in December. It is the way of the world.

Anyone have a spare Buffalo 2TB drive at cost (€47.25) plus postage? Or even the Buffalo 500GB Wireless same deal? :) Japan Quality OK... :D

I only saw the japan quality numba 1 after I looked at the images, was wondering what people were on about, it rooks a bit chinese to me, well like the engrish on my original dash cam's manual, it was a pile of junk.
Im beginning to get wary of the 2TB HDD.

My husband picked up the last Peppa one in Millfield, Balbriggan at 5pm this evening. I asked him if there were any left at all and he said he didn't think so.

I might be in Tesco Drogheda tomorrow and I'll update here if I see any.

Ours is for our DD3 for Christmas and I'm delighted with the bargain. With her being the third girl there is very little we don't have and this will give good impact for a good price.:)

    In tesco killarney tonight:
    - 500gb buffalo portable drive was €199, scanning at €49
    - porcelain cake stands, was €24.99 pink ones are scanning at €4.24 (white are still scanning at full price)
    - tesco own brand a4 laminators now €5.25

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,710 ✭✭✭Monotype

A 500GB drive is not worth €200. Even €49 is pushing it a little.

Was in Tesco Ashbourne and saw this. its quite cute if you managed to blag the littlewoods little people deal on ba.
€1.74 for 2 of these figures might seem a lot but if you saw the price normally you would know its a bargain. Hope it helps someone

Quick question guys. Longford store has all iphone 30 pin to lightning connectors reduced to 17.50 but they are scanning at 29.00 is it still the double the difference that they offer on items mispriced?

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,029 ✭✭✭Call me Al

It is double the difference in Tesco Maynooth.
I got it last week for something fairly innocuous.

yes, still double the difference once you have been charged the higher rate. Its bottom point on their blue customer service sign.
must check that today in my local.
