Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Deadline for new people joining the league is the last matchday in Sept. PM me asking to join as currently I've disabled new players joining, I'll pass on the code then.

    First game in the premier league, an already David De Gea is "Lacking in confidence" absolute bull crap. He is playing his first game an already has no confidence? I wouldn't mind if he made a bollox of loads of things like Gomes did for Spurs. But first game in the premier league an no confidence? Farce!

    FFS, I have 35 points but 3 of my 4 highest scoring players were on the bench cause of the site being down. FFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!
    Just adding up the points there, I had two Everton payers and Samba who was injured in my first XI, if I could have taken them off I would have 51 points RRRAAGGGEEE!!11!!!

    I can see why he would be low on confidence.

    He was at fault for the second goal against Man City last weekend, and he wasn't convincing for the first goal. He's Man United's number one, replacing the solid Edwin Van Der Sar. He's only 20, so he's bound to be under pressure. He messes up in his first game, and people start asking questions.

    I would say he would have been alright going into the game today, but whatever confidence he did have will probably be gone now.

    I feel for him.

    Made a few stupid moves, but had some fine saves in the second half. Anyone would be nervous in their first game for United (or anyone in the EPL for that matter). He'll have to prove in the future that it wasn't down for first match nerves.

    Had 34 points, would have had more if I had Rooney pick and as captain instead of Torres :(

    cant believe it!! I thought I had Cahill on the pitch and Smalling on the bench!!

    Sooooo gutted to find Cahill on the bench with 11 points gone to waste.. oh the pain of it!! :(

    Now I'm even more raging that I couldnt view my team selection before deadline!!



    Really hoping yaya toure and Kompany will give me some much needed points!

    Fantasy Premier League - An Apology

    A statement has been issued regarding the Fantasy Premier League game.

    As some of you are aware, many fans trying to access Fantasy Premier League on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning will have experienced problems logging in or registering teams prior to the Gameweek 1 deadline.
    ‪
    While the demand reached unprecedented levels on Saturday morning, we fell short of the standards you expect from the world's biggest fantasy football game and make no excuses for what was both a frustrating and disappointing experience ahead of the new season. For this we apologise unreservedly.

    Technical Issue

    Our technical teams have been working throughout the weekend to ensure the technical issue that led to the problems experienced by users are dealt with. Work also continues to improve the quality of your experience with additional steps taken in the game itself that enable you to:

    ‪1. Receive unlimited transfers
    No points will be deducted for any transfers you make up to the Gameweek 2 deadline (11:30 BST on Saturday 20th August 2011). If you have already made transfers and had points deducted, these will be restored to your overall total by midnight on Tuesday 16th August 2011. If you have already opted to play your wildcard, this too will be restored at the same time.

    ‪2. Opt to start mini-league scoring at Gameweek 2
    The option is available to all mini-league administrators to start the scoring from Gameweek 2. Go to 'Leagues' > 'League name' > 'Administer' > Select 'Gameweek 2' in 'Scoring Starts' drop-down menu and click 'Update league details'.

    I think any transfers made before Gameweek 2 starts that cause points deductions will be refunded.

    Yeah, edited my team a decent bit. Not wholesale changes but there are some made. Not happy with my bench. Key to doing well in the long run is having a good bench. 2 Newcastle players and a couple of Swansea players.

    I have changed my team soooo many times its ridiculous!!! Like i'd say I've made 15-20 transfers coz I cant make up my mind!

    I had a pretty horrid week! only united that saved me really!! think of using my wildcard already!

    never done a EPLFF before so dont really have a strategy! Just go with it! :D
