These Cabs again from Galway, some amount came from there over the Years,
Would Sathill been biggest spot in Ireland for Arcades in its day. Never been to Bray so dont have a clue.
The Savoy Cork was biggest arcade Id say ive been in, its a huge space, and filled with so many great machines.
Loved playing Chase HQ, Mad Do mcagree and usual Turles, SF, MKs etc

I was lucky lad from Cabra got load cabs from Closed arcade in Galway,
He bring one over at time to dublin and sell it. Id say he got the lot for free if he moved them quick enough.
Got Sega Rally, Sega upright off him, he Megalo and SRally2 and more too.
He went missing even after paying for some, but still happy out.

Starting to get less excited if its 30 black generic cabs now.
Nothing will beat that Ship in Liverpool being cleared of proper cool oldschool cabs.

I cant wait to find out whats there,
I hope (and I think it will) go to someone in the community.
not someone out to make a quick buck gutting them and banging lcds and 60-1s in .
All will be reviled tomorrow at 10!

    good luck!

Yeah I hope someone decent gets their hands on them. ELG seems to have some materials at his disposal, rigid trucks at the drop of a hat haha

Be great if he got them and they were some decent cabs. Played his cards right around these parts he could give a few of us a nice deal. We'd get some savings, he'd make some money and some poor cabs would get some nice new warm homes.

I remember getting the ones from Cork, great craic picking up a pile of unknown cabs, rooting through to see which ones have pcbs and what dusty gold you might find haha... would love to do it again, the timeline was too short though, we should all keep about 500 aside in case something like this ever comes up again!

It's a hard one to judge. Very possible someone got in years ago and cleared out all the PCBs, just leaving cabs.

Also very possible that didn't happen and it's a goldmine of boards.

    Exciting stuff :)

A new cab and some boards would go down well :)

    Bad news :(
Apparently they are all water damaged to ****.
nothing special bar one taito cab that was completely stripped.
a few cocktail tables water damaged beyond repair and some sit down poker machines.again all split from water.
a stack of 15 pcbs all piled up on top of each other ?no idea what they were assumed ****ed :(
    possibility of a few monitors

    what a let down ,

PCBs might be ok? you can wash them in a dishwasher cant you, so water might not affect them.. i dunno..

Cocktail table parts could be used, if any have decent legs id be interested (durty) as mine where rusted to bits. Would love a poker monitor with no burn too.

    Did he take them anyways?

PCBs can be washed once they are dried correctly to prevent corrostion.
I've a water damaged bomb jack, the board is fine but every leg on every chip is rusted :(

Ive no idea what he took,
he said it looks like the place was a repair shop.
    So its a grave yard.

As mentioned, PCBs can be very hardy. As long as they're not powered up damp they're fine.

Shame about the water damge though. Them's the risk with woody cabs :(

haha thats the spirit :) Lets go buy sh1t to make up for it.

This could have made a very disappointing episode of Game Chasers...
    30 Cabs, but all rubbish...

Another cool find in Isreal Barn, one of Boards lads threw it link to this Otaku.

I think may have been Outrun Deluxe and Mini Cute founds some great finds at end of the video.

    what a let down ,

what did you expect when he was selling so cheap and being super-secretive about what they were.
