Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Waking up at 9am on a Monday and realising that you dont have any college on Mondays! Then turning over, and not getting up until noon :)

Then spending an hour catching up on an assignment, and suddenly all appears a little rosier in the garden!

I'm quoting this in the bitch thread. :(

    Damn working life.

Yup, it had been the most soul destroying class this semester, and the tutorial was even for a different module, so it was even sweeter!! :)

Now as you mention it, which is the best day around UL for going out, the day before Paddy's Day or Paddy's day itself?

I have an exam today, a lap report due tomorrow and an assignment due Friday. But the sun is shining, the people are happy and we have at least 2 weeks before feeling guilty about not studying.

Gotta love this place when the weather is good. :D

    What a weekend!

    I'm in great form! :)

    Weather has been great.
Man Utd won, Chelsea and Arsenal both lost.
I got quite drunk last night.
I got a 36 page project on Heineken finished [its due on Wednesday]
I got 3,500 of a 4,000 word project for Friday done.
I helped get over 5,500 words of a 6,000 word project for Tuesday done.
I'm just about to finish my learning journal due for Tuesday as well.
Its entering the last teaching week of my Masters too.

    Good times! :)

Had a walk around the place today for the first time in about 3 months. Man I miss it big time; the new Music & Dance building is serious and I hear Subway and Starbucks have somehow wiggled their way into Campbells cosy monopoly?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,174 ✭✭✭1huge1

turns out its not actually a starbucks, its all good though

The place beside the Red Raison isn't a Starbucks?! Or are you referring to somewhere else?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,477 ✭✭✭✭cson

Meh wouldn't be using it anyway. Starbucks is way overpriced and way overrated. Soup & Roll in the Plaza for the win, you can't bate it!

15th assignment/project/presentation of the semester submitted earlier today.

Such a good feeling to be rid of it.

Now just a 10 minute presentation and 10 min Q&A tomorrow, and I'll be finished projects for my masters!

Its not a starbucks but has a licence to brew some starbucks coffee or something like that, thats why when I had a voucher for starbucks they wouldn't accept it
