Title: From the Earth to the Moon

Cast: Adam Baldwin, Gary Cole, Cary Elwes, Paul McCrane, Kevin Pollak and more you'll probably recognise.

Genre: Drama, Mini-series

Description: I think this series may be a little underrated, it's a bit of a hidden gem. It comes from HBO so you'll expect it to be of a certain standard and generally you won't be disappointed. It would have been so easy for something like this to slip into cheese or jingoism, but it doesn't. It's about the men, their country, their work ethic, friendsips...I will admit that it's not perfect which may contradict my hidden gem statement, but it's still very good viewing! Tom Hanks has a hand in this, as he did in Band of Brothers and John Adams...I would watch all three of these series again before watching the rather overrated Saving Private Ryan. Like him or loathe him he obviously knows how to make a good series.

McNulty decides to divert resources back to the police department by faking evidence to make it appear that a serial killer is murdering homeless men.
The Baltimore Sun newspaper also faces budget cuts and the underfunded newsroom struggles to adequately cover the city, omitting many important stories. Commissioner Burrell continues to falsify crime statistics until Deputy Commissioner Valchek leaks unmodified figures to Carcetti. Carcetti fires Burrell and positions Daniels to replace him. Templeton falsely implicates Daniels in Burrell's departure and Burrell passes the file on Daniels' history of unexplained assets to politician Nerese Campbell.

Ok so it isn't a stereotype, is it? but you wouldn't like to make Malcolm Tucker angry, one of those people your better off avoiding, just stay out of his way. Set in the Department of Social Affairs and Citizenship (DoSAC) a new super department that is the core of the government's "join up thinking". Minister Hugh Abbott wants to make his mark on the Department after the resignation of the previous Minister however he is under the strict control of Tucker who pressures him to toe the governments line.

Description: This series follows a shift of the Baltimore Police Department's Homicide Unit. It's not CSI. The politics of the higher ups in the police is there, same with the tight resources, the projects, the public perception of the police, etc.

Based on the comic of the same name which goes on to explore the challenges of life in a world overrun by zombies who take a toll on the survivors, and sometimes the interpersonal conflicts present a greater danger to their continuing survival than the zombies that roam the country. Over time, the characters are changed by the constant exposure to death and some grow willing to do anything to survive.

Cast Sean Lock and Benedict Wong. It has cameos from Peter Serafinowicz,Perry Benson, Bill Bailey and one of its writers Mark Lamaar.
Genre: British Comedy.
Plot It follows Vince a cranky lifeguard who lives with an incredibly innocent housemate named Errol who has left home. Vince is a petty little man who nobody really likes but it's oblivious to him. In the apartment block for the 12 episodes we meet a range of bizarre individuals who some to be out of out a horror movie!
