Now, on top of the Euro sign not coming out, I'm encountering problems with writing fadas. For Sinead (fada over e, obviously) I got Sinéad.

    Capitals with fadas: Ã႒ÉÃ႒ÓÚ (AEIOU)
    Ordinary with fadas: áéíóú (aeiou)

Just posted something with a Euro sign € and unless I knew there was a problem with the editor from reading previous posts here I might have wasted a lot of time trying to fix it.

Guys seem to be making progress on this so should have a fix soon.

Just a heads-up that some services are being restarted, so some things may not work perfectly. Hopefully all will be back to normal very soon.

    Works fine on mobile.

What is wrong with the Lotto ad that is appearing in the middle of some pages on my mobile?
It is causing many of the pages to freeze and when I resubmit the page to move it again the ad, unprompted, is opening up on a new tab.

It's very annoying and has been going on all day.

Using mobile/Chrome/android 4.2 pages frequently freeze, taking a while to wake up. Also getting "half pages" of blank blackness.

    Yes happening here too.
As well as my above post.

    Cén fáth?

Strange that it appears perfect when you wrote it but is the same mess I have when I quote it. I can neither post with fadas, nor quote them.

I'll try the two standard ways again, which have worked here and across the web for years:

    alt, ctrl, vowel: áéíóú (aeiou)
alt, ctrl, caps, vowel: Ã႒႒႒႒ÉÃ႒႒႒႒ÓÚ (AEIOU)
alt gr & vowel: áéíóú (aeiou)
alt gr. caps & vowel: Ã႒႒ÉÃ႒႒ÓÚ (AEIOU)

    Cén fáth?

Very strange. I can even quote myself.

It's the emojis that don't work for me.
    eg:

    😀 😂 😎

This mobile lotto app ad is still causing problems. Its opening up independently and randomly, and still causing the bottom half the phone screen to go black and freeze.

Emojis seem to be working for me- but not special characters..........

The touch site isn't registering that I've read posts in a thread this afternoon.
Read a thread, e.g. YLYL, to the last post. Go back to my threads, thread still shows in bold, and if I click on it, it takes me to the previously last unread post.
It's happening all threads. Anyone else experiencing similar?

Read / unread notifications in user control panel are all over the place. Things I read yesterday showing up as unread, read it again, refresh and still showing as unread

Made a post a few minutes ago, no error message, but it's not appearing

Fingal County Council are certainly not competent to be making decisions about the most important piece of infrastructure on the island. They need to stick to badly designed cycle lanes and deciding on whether Mrs Murphy can have her kitchen extension.

Can't post in the brexit referendum super thread at all. I've tried the touch, responsive and legacy sites. I'm still getting notifications to say there's new posts too.

It's the one in the main politics forum.
