No harm when it's finished - those chicanes on the 'bypass' are quite tight

It's not the only bypass where the chicanes are tight

Deliberately done to slow down traffic and help protect the workers I presume, could catch out the unwary though.

    The Atlantic corridor by 2030

By 2030? The M20 is unlikely to be finished by then.

Some work today (16/12/2015) at Cartymore, Athenry with the arrival of the crane to do the bridge for the R339 to go over the new road,

Sorry not a great shot but it was taken in moving traffic on the way into Galway.

I still can't work out how the middle bridge will look like. I guess they will use more beams on either side of the supports.

This is it would look like when the concrete is poured over the beams

I know the basics of overbridges constructed using prestressed beams. That's fine.

I'm just curious how long the middle viaduct is going to be. Now we only have beams over the M6 mainline. I guess they will extend the bridge on either side by adding more pillars and beams rather than embankments and separate bridges over the roundabout.

    We'll see.

What I can't fathom from the pics of Rathmorrissey is will the middle bridge get sufficient clearance over the middle level roundabout?

It doesn't look obvious from the pics.

Ok, I made simple drawings (very, very simple ;)) about what I had in mind in my question.

Will they use single bridge like this:
vbulletin23227656053_5e6ebfa74d_b.jpgSingle bridge by Geogregor*, on Flickr

Or separate bridges over the mainline and the roundabout:
vbulletin23227655873_30ae7806ae_b.jpgWith seperate bridges by Geogregor*, on Flickr

For now the construction of this structure is a bit mysterious for me.
