    This is a classic league, not a head to head league. The top 2 teams will gain qualification for League 2 for next year. It may well transpire that there may be more places. This year 12 backups managed to get places so if the same was to happen again next year, the top 11 teams would qualify for League 2.

    The reason why it is only 11 and not 12, is that this year there will be a cup for the final place. This will take place at the very end of the season, with the final in GW38. The week that this begins will depend on the amount of entrants we get for the league this year. As it is unlikely we will get a number that goes evenly for a knockout cup competition, the guys at the bottom of the league may have to play an extra round. You do not have to do anything to join this cup. The admin will be run manually and you will be considered to have entered merely by joining the league.

    If the cup winner has qualified already via the league, the place will go to the runner-up. If both the winner and the runner-up have qualified via the league, the place will go to the next highest in the league rather than the cup semi-finalists.

    48 places from the Qualifying League will be allocated to the FSA League Cup. Again, how these are qualified for will depend on numbers.

    To enter do the following 2 things
    1) Join the league using that code
    2) Sign up in this thread quoting your team name and ID.

    Make sure you do both. Any team that signs up on the site, but doesn't post on here will be removed.

    The deadline for entry is 23:59 August 31st. The early deadline is to stop people who joined early and have been doing well being gazumped by people who are doing well and have suddenly decided to join every league.

    When joining, please familiarise yourself with the signup process for next summer if you do manage to qualify, in particular the dates for signup, especially for people who don't qualify immediately, but are likely to get a reserve place by attrition.

    Please do not sign up if you are already in the 80 teams of the FSA League.
