Sorry guys, back to the drawing board on this one. It's the funky arch in the seat tube. Can't warm to that on any road bike.

    I like it. ^

If it didn't have that half n half paint on the seat post the dodgy seat tube wouldn't look so bad I reckon.

No the worst thing I've seen though. Bar tape is a bit marmite.

I most certainly do remember rotten.com. I tried very hard to forget, and had nearly succeeded until I saw your post.

April fools joke aside, thats the best looking folding bike Ive ever seen anyway if they toned it down a bit, been a lot of images of beauty in this thread for the last week or so tbh.

It's very pricey, but if you have to do lots of travel for work, as I do, something like that would be a godsend, easy to take anywhere with you and gives a decent enough road bike approximation to get good training in no matter where your job takes you.

I investigateed them last year as a travel bike. Instead I found a S&S machine frame.

Thats a very rare bike. Its BB which was positioned for climbers to get a better Knee over pedal position to maximise power. I actually like the paintjob. BB is a bit strange alright though.

That saddle position is UCI illegal though, under current rules.

When were those rules introduced? The bike is around 2001-02. Pantani rode one

No, it's very very slightly curved.

    Before then, apparently...

    http://www.wolfgang-menn.de/ucirules.htm
    Rules valid until 31-dec-1999:
1.3.012: The point of the saddle shall be a minimum of 5 cm to the rear of a vertical plane passing through the lower bracket spindle. The saddle support shall be horizontal (see figure 1). The length of the saddle shall be 24 cm minimum and 27.5 cm maximum.

The bike frame is legal - just needs the saddle moving back a couple of cm and the whole thing will be
