I really like the mafia games
    Any suggestions

Maybe more tongue in cheek than you're looking for, but what about Saints Row 3 or 4?

Since i discovered g2play.net steam sales are nothing to me. Lower prices than steam sales all year round. Its pretty insane. Although had a quick glance and Deus Ex is cheaper on steam.

But stuff like Assassins Creed: Unity for 26 on g2play and 40 on steam is a big difference. Not that anyone would actually want to buy Assassins Creed: Unity :pac:

Thanks but not really what I'm looking for. I also want to be able to drive

One problem I have Is I never get to finish gtaiv because I get a few hours into it and then I leave it for a while and by the time I get back to it there always some games for windows update or it dosent work because of some new update and then eventually I lose all my progress by a format. Then I'm back to the start. La noire I loss my data twice or 3 times on a system format. That's a big problem by buying non steam games

Thanks for the suggestions folks though. Anything else . Basically a modern day fps open world that uses real guns with and against a human character

If you really want to steer clear of any kind of fantasy/horror/sci-fi element, then you aren't left with much choice. ARMA II maybe? Lots of mods available for it too.

Add Borderlands 1 and 2 to that as well. You will not be disappointed with those four games. Make sure you have a lot of free time, 240+ hours in all those games combined with the DLC's.

It's not zombie or alien. It is a post nuclear war world. You grow up in a vault and once you get older you leave the vault to explore the massive game world. Many hours involved.

Didn't see this bit till now. No driving in fallout. Bit of driving in Borderlands but they are different than the games you are looking for.

Off the top of my head, The Godfather is good the first didn't play the second, also Scarface is another excellent game. They are both like GTA. Also GTA San Andreas is a very good game. I don't know if those games are out on PC as I played them on Xbox but San Andreas is available for PC.

Also Scarface starts off at the end of the film so it is kinda like a FPS as everyone is there to kill you but once you escape the house you go stay in a hut outside of town and then build up your drug empire. It is open world once you leave the mansion.

Like fps as well so scarface looks good

According to wiki both games were released on windows platform. If you can find them online somewhere.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Godfather:_The_Game

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scarface:_The_World_Is_Yours

Both excellent games but Scarface in my opinion is better.

Thinking about Prison Architect as well, but not a fan of the whole early access thing. Is the game worth it as it stands right now?

Thanks,i have €50 in my steam wallet for the sale so kinda restricted to steam for the moment. Bought it in the end after doing a bit more reading about it today,my main concern was that its quite short so was hoping to pick it up for a bit less but how and ever im looking forward to giving it a go. It was either this or Gone Home and the story in this looks like it i would prefer it and im hoping Gone Home will get a bigger discount than it currently has at some stage of the sale.

There hasnt been much to interest me yet this sale. Hoping Street Fighter IV and Wolfenstein will get decent discount before its over, there about it for big games i want at the moment. Other than that i reckon i will be just picking up some smaller games.

I picked up How to Survive Storm Warning Edition for €1.89

Great deal @ 90% off. Includes base game and 6 DLC in that price.

I have said to plenty of people ....... Simple No for me. I had so many bugs... no missions or campaign yet & it has been in early access far too long at this stage.

Bought it earlier in the month. I am enjoying it so far :)

Feels like like a mix between XCOM & Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel set in a zombie themed world. You create your character and can assign them certain skills that can either be geared towards Combat, Defense or Skills that help the camp in terms of survivability such as Mechanical, Science, Scavenging etc

You start with a bunch of preset survivors who each have their own skills and can bring along with on missions, or you can assign them jobs for the camp such as making weapons, repairing structures, building etc. you'll eventually find more survivors to join your camp via key events or random events.

Combat is very reminiscent of fallout, even in terms of the UI. So basically you have a weapon, you have AP points, use AP points against zombies/bandits and that's really it.

You have to manage the social aspect of the surivors as well, each one has a need or want and you can keep them happy by scavenging items they need (such as booze, dope, chocolate etc).

Overall it's a great game, if you like either XCOM or Fallout type of games you will like this. My only gripes are that the mission maps are kind of smaller for a modern game and also that areas that you scavenge do not respawn (you can revisit them however). The world map looks big enough though.

Kairo is 99c, this game is a must have if you are into puzzle adventures like Antichamber, Fez, Myst.

There is no dialogue in the game - but there's an amazing story that is given out through very subtle hints. One of the best atmospheres I've experienced in a game between the music and aesthetics. I loved it so much I bought 4 copies for friends and the soundtrack! Highly recommended.

Picked up Shadow Warrior last night, managed to squeeze in an hour or two. Enjoyed what i did get to play. Melee combat in first person takes a bit of getting used to,its quite fast paced also

Who doesnt love the idea of being a sword and gun wielding maniac though :pac:
