    what's he like ryano?
would he be good in the role?

looks like it's shaping up to be a very intriguing week ahead.
interested to see this cambridge fella in person, after reading through his posts i'll certainly have a lot of questions to ask him, not sure how viable his policies are

No, she is definitely running. I signed her nomination form and all!

I heard from a very reliable source it was just a massive troll. Suppose we'll find out Friday!

I really doubt it. If it is, it's VERY elaborate.

I heard from a very reliable source there are quite a few very elaborate troll candidates, and not just the most obvious ones.

You mean Inanimate Carbon Rod is trolling? I thought he was a cool guy. Not the best personality in the world, but very reliable.

Andrew O Doherty has already been mistaken for a Business student so are you sure this wasnt him?
I am almost certain that Kelly O Brien is not running

I think it's actually 2 different people. Andrew and a 4th year Business student.

Unless it's the most epic troll of all time, I'm almost certain she is.

I mean this with all due respect - but are half of these people taking the piss?? At least 2 of this years officers have proven themselves useless (both in my personal opinion and the general public opinion) and they have the balls to run again?!? Other names at a glance just don't seem to be cut out for the job - lots of immature names floating around which will have a LOT of proving of themselves to do! Some of the names I don't know do fingers crossed! More nominations needed though please oh please!!!

I'd nearly campaign against Adam Moursey getting it

Christ, some of those names make you worry for our student body

Is that you Dave Hartery? ;)

I think Adam would be a great president, certainly better than some of the other lump candidates on offer like dave and triona. And let's be honest he can't do any worse than the current lot of sabbats have done.

I'll be deciding tomorrow if I'm running for welfare or not. I already have the signatures, just need to hand it in. What to do what to do!

Nope, although I am planning to run myself next year ;)

I'd love to see a manifesto (anyone's) containing the phrase:

As long as the building is still standing, there's always the possibility of a fire. "Can't do any worse than..." can pretty much always be proved optimistic, given a bit of effort:).

This election might be a little reminiscent of musical chairs, depending on how many people who ran for X last year (successful or not) are choosing instead to run for Y this year. You can call it the Musical Chair election if you like, though I'm pretty sure that one of you can think of something better.

Thank you very much I appreciate the support. My name isn't too well known around the SU. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing but sure see how it goes. Going to think over everything tonight and see where I am tomorrow.

I think Adam Moursy and Dave Hartery would both make good presidents.
