Well, that was very enjoyable (bar our 2 lads losing). A very well run event and I had a great time. Gunnar Nelson was incredible, so focused and calm. Very impressed again by Brian Moore, he kind of reminds me of a young GSP! JMS was an absolute beast, I'm so glad I'm not fighting as I would not like to fight him!

I though that Dave Hanney was robbed, didn't think it was a draw but I will reserve judgement until I see it again. Also, I was very impressed with Alan standing 3 rounds with a much bigger opponent in James Heelan (I thought Alan took the first round).

I thought Sean was out of line but it takes a lot of guts to come on here and apoligise so fair play. He's a young guy and a lot happens in the heat of the moment when the adrenaline is flowing... we live an learn.

Fair play John for a great event.

Great show John - very well ran and a great atmosphere.

Gunnar Nelsons fight was incredible and what an eery entrance song!

I enjoyed his interview at the end:

(On being asked if he was born with the calm focus or he works on it)
"I don't know about being born with it but I certainly work on it".

To Seans credit, he was also apologising to people as he walked out of the cage - heat of the moment thing and as mentioned above all forgotten about our side.

Lads I'm looking for a song that was used as a walk out song on Saturday night. I can't for the life of me remember the name of the song but its a rap song and it was used by 2 different fighters the other night. I think it might've been by DMX or something but I really can't remember. I was well oiled!:o
Anyone know it??!

I want to say a massive thanks to every single person who helped make CCXII possible last weekend. Fighters, coaches, fans, medics, CC crew and anyone else who were there for us.

I feel we managed to produce another great event for all even though we had 37 change during the match making process (most were for vailid and genuine reasons but there were some excuses that simply beggered belief). It never ceases to amaze me how the Irish MMA community are so quick to rally behind each other and help fill the spaces left. I'd like to say particular thanks to John Kavanagh who went way beyond the call of duty in accepting changes, catchweights, and a load of other conditions to help me out.

I'm looking forward to seeing you all soon at CCXIII

I was looking forward to this too, two very good fighters, I hope they are both well, it was cancelled a few days before the event I think? No Serious injurys or anything hopefully?

Just watched the fight again Barry, with your commentary which I enjoyed. I agree not fight of the night, but excluding the incident at the end. Hardly a dreadfully bad tempered affair?
