Last couple of photos from a few car shows in the early 90's.

    1. Overview of part of the Geneva Motor Show 1991, Nissan Primeras at the front, small area at the back right for Skoda who probably had only the Favorit on the stand. At the back left you can see a sign which begins "Ciz", its for Cizeta, anyone remember their V16T? (and to answer dharn's question above, has Marcinek ever photographed one?):)

Was it red (or silver, I can't remember:o)? If so I think that back bumper was put on it!

Nope. Black, driven by a young girl.

Unlikely she migrated back home from Japan. Also, as somebody said on Facebook to me, unlikely it washed up recently on our shores. :(

We visited this place last November, but I only put the photos up a few days ago . Great museum for classics but there are also a few modern cars there as well. It has one of the best selections of racing cars, be it F1, rally, Le Mans or whatever that I have ever seen. Its about 30 km west of Rennes, so if youre heading south from Cherbourg or Roscoff its not much of a diversion and well worth the visit imo.

This is the only Le Mans Bugatti EB110 ever made, works prepared but privately entered. Always loved the EB110, a somewhat forgotten supercar of the 90's, 4WD, 4 turbos, (4 wheels!) and for a while the fastest production car available. There is a lot more on the EB110 and its Le Mans entry here, how it sadly ended the race is shown here.

1995 Le Mans series Aston Martin DB7, (it never actually raced at Le Mans).

    LoheacNov2010079.jpg

XJR-11, an FIA Group C car, it never ran in Le Mans but was used to develop the TWR XJR-12 which won the 1990 Le Mans.

    LoheacNov2010074.jpg

Just some of the rally cars, with a few of the short lived but brilliant Group B cars of the mid 80's, on the left is Carlos Sainz's R5 Maxi Turbo, 350 bhp from a 1.6l :D!!, a Metro 6R4 (410bhp from a 2.9l) and an RS200 (420bhp from a 1.8) more pics on a post on this page here.

The Ferrari room, from the left, F40, Testarossa, 308 GTB rally car, 1983
    F1 126 C3 (Rene Arnoux), 1960 250 Gt SWB, 1985 288 GTO, 512 BB, 308 GTB and a Dino.

The Lamborghini room... from the left 350 GT, 400 GT, Islero, Uracco and a Jarama....

    ..........Espada, Jalpa, Countach and Diablo.

Lambo Miura S, in the background a Lamborghini V12 powerboat engine with a nice exhaust....

    LoheacNov2010128.jpg

...which was in this, the Colibri, the boat in which the great Didier Pironi was tragically killed. This boat could out out a total of 1560bhp from its two V12 engines, giving it a max speed of 160 kmh.

A couple of rooms full of toy cars.......... FUCK YEAH!!!!!!!!!

    LoheacNov2010179.jpg

    The F1 room

    LoheacNov2010270-1.jpg

including Alain Prosts championship winning car of 1986

    LoheacNov2010271-1.jpg

A Venturi ( 260?), I've always liked these for some reason.

    LoheacNov2010287-1.jpg

Some Hommells, they use PSA running gear and were built locally. Michel Hommell part owns this museum and the race tracks beside it and is the guy who got Bugatti to prepare the Le Mans EB110 in the first pic. Safe to say a true petrol head.
