Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    What's the tasks widget?

It's the 2x1 widget from the Jorte calendar, just selected tasks..

Then in the options it's the black style, and set all the transparencies down to 0%; I think that's it.

I'm guessing that's the one you mean anyway, 3rd from the top?

Here are my 3 central homescreens and my lockscreen.
    home3x.png
I tried modding the SwitchPro widgets to get them more in line with the rest of the widgets but so far I haven't had much success.
Got fed up with them and just reverted back to the default widgets. Hope to get them sorted eventually.:o

How do you guys edit the lock screen?

For basic customization you can use apps like WidgetLocker. It replaces your standard lockscreen and allows you to add widgets & apps, i.e. anything you'd normally be able to add to your homescreens. There's also a few different sliders/layouts such as the default android,Sense UI or iPhone sliders to choose from. Beyond that your going to have to start modding the app to make your own personal design.

If your rooted with an app called Shoot Me.
If your not rooted you can take a screenshot with the Android SDK.

HTC Desire running Cyanogen Mod V7.00 V2

    screenshot.jpg

Running this because I decided I do not like HTC Sense at all... I have tried many different roms and even some of the HD Sense ROMS too and its slow and clunky and unreliable... Cyanogen Mod looks good and runs like snot! Love having the 5 icons on the bottom instead of the 3.

The Clock Widget is - Beautiful Widgets
Calender is - Simple Calender Widget.

I got a screen capture on my unrooted Galaxy Ace by accident. I've been trying to work out how but I think I've just found it. I presume I did the same process that works on the Galaxy Tab but I can't get it to work now.

No, you just put in the date your event is on and it counts down.

Yeah it is. Works perfect with desire HD using cm7 rc4. Tis expensive enough but I think its worth it.

I took screenshots of my screens, then edited the screenshots into stock images of the phone from the internet. My phone could capture screenshots without root by holding down the back back button for a second before pressing the home button. It's apparently present in newer froyo devices. I posted about it a page or two back.

I like it, only thing I would ditch is the power widget and have the noticification power options instead... they are 100% must feature in ROMS for me.

@tui0hcg Engadget did a review of that SDB shell thingy today:

I have all the same stuff if i want to swipe down the notification area, but its much easier to have the power widget "just there". I can do in 1 click, what would take you 2 swipes, and a click. Since I use it a lot, it makes sense.

FYI, that torch widget is single click ON/OFF as well.

Was just about to buy LauncherProPlus when I saw that ADW could resize widgets. I had tried ADW before but didn't like the 3 button dock. Retried it and really like it now with a theme applied. Transitions and a homescreen loop really would seal the deal.

Launcher Pro with a HTC Sense-like theme, but more useful IMO. FroydVillain with a Ginergbread theme.
