Does Trevor not have Irish connections? This limits Tubs questioning to say the least. Trevor always comes across as a likable guy though.

Looking forward to Vinnie starting in a few minutes though. Watching him try and control Jedward will be hilarious stuff. :D

    Very uninspired version by Keating.
He seems to take songs i kinda like and just sanitise/emasculate them.

I was going to say he makes them sound anaemic, but I think you put it better.

He takes a pair of these to music:bur,.lkjjlkjlkjlkdizzo-1_.jpg

Or perhaps Yvonne took a pair to him...

What? Jedward on VB, what alternate universe is that happening in?

I think it was glassesist rather than racist as you might be suspecting.

Exactly. Strips all character from a song and makes it anodyne.

I never noticed the fact he wore glasses, surprising really given the amount of time he was in front of a camera.

The chap speaks better without having to read a script, and seems to have been involved in the news all the way. Best guest tonight. Best guest in a long time actually.

Sir Trev is a real class act. Tubridy's attempt at, yet another, jibe about the cricket was really cringe-worthy stuff at the start.

Surely they have a documentary on tonight about a girl with 5 arms who ate her own arse!

Dick, I don't think there's anything or anyone you don't hate judging from your posts here.

DLB has a Jewish guest on and talks about Auschwitz.

He has a black guest on and talks about Obama and Mandela.

He looks like a pint of Guinness.

I thought Ronan's version was better

    *runs back under one's bridge*

Really? Are you 'speaking as a musician' tonight? :)

Trevor sounds more accented than on British telly. It's weird.

"You're having a great time here"

wtf is this lad on.. Does he have an aversion to watching the news, now that he's not reading it himself any more?

LOL, actually anaemic is the word i was probably looking for.
Emasculate is a bit dramatic and flowery- but he does kinda take the balls off those songs.

I always speak as a musician :) ... As you can see the comedy didnt work out so well, so I had to turn my attention elsewhere.. hoping Ronan will take a leaf out of my book..

Tubridy practically did, when he refused a salary cut for "legal reasons".

so.... he enjoyed watching trevor mcdonald as a younger man.

    sniggers!

Trev is here to support a charity.

Fair play to him. I would have bet good money on hearing the words 'signing' and 'Easons' at the end of that interview.

Sir Trev was enjoyable, despite Tubridy. At least he was allowed to talk.
