    With all the englishness around this forum, i thought so that us Irish don't feel left out, here's a thread about Irish accents.

    What do you think is the best Irish accent?

    I kinda like the Donegal accent quite a lot. It sounds really nice especially from girls. Or is it just this one friend that i've got who's from Donegal and has the coolest/cutest accent i've ever herd! :pac:

    that accent can also be found in tallaght, ballybrack, sallynoggin, dolphins barn, renalagh, clondalkin, ballyfermot, palmerstown, sandyford, kilcross, monkstown, shankill, crumlin, drimnagh, kimmage, and other places around the whole of dublin.

    for me the nicest accent is a soft cork accent that girls around bandon have

    Donegal for me, or any accent from the west of Ireland, reminds me of holidays.

    I also like my accent, dunno what it ACTUALLY sounds like though, but it sounds good to me.

    The Galway City/Connemara accent is by the far and away the nicest, either on a male or female. I guess becos its not really strong, somewhat neutral. Also love the North Kerry one, or a soft West Cork accent, particularly on a girl.

    have you ever heard an angry south leitrim accent ,like mine right now ,it even frightens me,

    the real paddys hail from west of the shannon connacht ,the rest of ye are just blowins from surrounding countries who wouldnt have ye,

    and you think a limerick accent is scary, you havent met a 6 footer from kiltubrid whos computer blew up the same day he crashed his jeep, and he wasnt even drinking, i blame the recession and the invaders to this country over the last couple of thousand years who caused it, i will run them all out me and my people
