He needs to improve on his one trick of out in front and turn and run. Lehane has the potential of being hurler of the year but has to improve on his Houdini act of disappearing for long spells. A lot of pressure on Ellis Sunday, let's just hope sully has them trained like animals at the back. Up the rebels can't wait for Sunday

Weakest list of subs I have ever seen, seems remarkable that 3 weeks after an all Ireland under 21 football final sean o Donoghue is good enough to step up to the bench at this level, how much hurling has he done?the conservative selections all throughout a disastrous league will hurt us when we are looking at young untried players in the last 20 minutes, while tipp are able to bring on the likes of bonnar maher..........same bunch of defenders that have blown up countless times before with a keeper who really needs to have improved substantially from last year...........tipp by 5/6

I've been attending Tipp/Cork matches for as long as I can remember and seldom can I remember such a feable effort, even in the late 70's early 80's when Cork were totally dominant I don't think Tipp were ever as far off the pace as Cork were today, if Tipp wanted they could have won by 15 plus points. Hurling is in a much better place with a strong Cork, I really hope its a blip but all the evidence suggest otherwise.
