That's probably what it is. It wasn't mentioned, but some reviews say they are, others don't mention either way.
Anyway, he wanted a set for PC and Xbox One so hopefully these do the trick. Good reviews and often compared to (mentioned identical in one review) the HyperX Cloud II, except for the slightly smaller headband.

Bought them with 48hour Delivery for €3.50.
