Gaming Bargains (not Freebies)

Was wondering if we could get a sticky going about games bargains that we've spotted? I'm going to pm Monument about it.

It could be useful, especially for offers like the Xtravision one and the Xbox 360 trade-in offer that Game have at the minute.

People could also give examples of gaming bargains they've seen. For example, I just spotted Astro Boy for GBA on Play.com for £9.99 ( about €14.99) which is a steal. They're also going to have the Castlevania double pack on GBA for £17.99 (about €24), which is a great price for two fantastic GBA games. Lumines on PSP is only £17.99 there too, most shops are still charging €45+ for it.

Its also worth noting for 360 owners that Harvey Norman tend to be alot cheaper than most shops for the games. They're €20 cheaper than some places.

Anyone else spotted any gaming bargains lately?

I got The Hulk for the Gamecube in Game on Dawson street for €5.99 the other day.

It's not a GREAT game... but smashing stuff is fun.

I got Tekken 5 from play-asia.com for just over 10 euro delivered which constitutes a bargain to me.

PC World have Soul Calibur 2 for €4.97. You can't go wrong with a fiver for a game.

I dont know if this is a bargain but you can buy Xbox 360 and PSP for less than 3 euro a week in Dixons in Drogheda. 21% interest.

i seen alot of 360 games for 60euro on argos.ie dont know if this is in stores to but if it was games cost 75euros in virgin so thats a saving of 15euro and you get them on play.com for 60euro

Not a bargain at all. You pay €3 a week for 4 years. Therefore it works out at €156 a year to won a console!

Got "The Operative:No one lives Forever REVIEW:http//www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/ps2/noonelivesforeverfor 3.99Euro on the Playstation 2 in GAME brand new.Although it is not that great it was good enough for 4 quid.The funny thing was, when I traded it in again (albeit in Xrtra vision) I got 3Euro for it.
Pretty much an alright game for 1Euro.:D

Game spot on Henry st had a few copies of both mercenaries and star wars republic commando for 8.99. Also forza sport and conflict:global storm for 17.99 each.

19.99 for God of War (Platnium) in Tesco's.
Anyone who doesn't own this game should get it.
The graphics are probably the best I've seen on the Ps2!

End of the play.com sale. Nothing much new has come down in price that I can notice besides battlefield 2 for ps2 which is now £9.99. I didn't check other platforms besides ps2 so you might want to check as they always have their best deals just before the sale ends.
