Worth breaking this one free of the Argos thread to get some eyes on it, as that's a very decent TV for the price*.

Anyone have this tv for a while and able to give a review of it? From what I read elsewhere online(which wasn't many reviews) it seems good tv and for that price surely you can't go wrong?

Price valid till today and none can be ordered so reckon if they come in again they will be back up in price

While this has a satellite tuner, am I right in thinking it can also decode saorview?

No price is due to expire today 1/3/16 still showing as & 439. There are 2 in Letterkenny for instance.

They wouldn't stock it if it didn't deliver Saorview & you can be sure that price will be honoured.

I managed to reserve one of these but now wont be able to collect it till tomorrow, will they honor the price it was reserved at seeing as offer is due to end today?
It says on email it is reserved for me till tomorrow pm so hoping that's at the reduced price.

Yeah I got rid of the old sky box and use the LG built in Sat tuner. Mainly because the Sky box used a tonne of electricity, and the LG tv is very cheap to run.

At the moment, it's not great, it only has Now and Next epg and it's very slow to update, but LG have promised an upgrade to the full freesat epg. The announcement was made 6 months ago and they're very slow to release information

Picked one up at Liffey Valley this morning, only reserved at 8.30pm last night and got confirmation this morning. Tried to use TECH10 but no joy. Currently trying to come up with creative ways to make this TV fit on the old TV stand, span of the feet is around two inches too wide

I have one reserved in Swords if anyone wants it. The reviews are very few and what I did read, I wasnt happy with so the reservation is there until the close of business tonight! First pm gets it.
