Annoying Gym Behaviour - Mk2(?)

Whatever happened to that old thread? I loved that thread.

Anyway, wanted it back because it's entertaining reading. I'm finding it hard to get the ball rolling because at 6.30am there's not much in the way of annoying behaviour in my gym. The usual plates not returned to racks or whatever. Or people splashing big gross wet footprints around the place after the shower.

What new horror stories have we for 2015?

I go in the morning when it's somewhat quiet. Only regular annoying behaviour is some girl doing some cardio circuit on top of all the exercise mats at once. I.e. there's an area used for warmups/stretching stuff with a small pile of mats. You take a mat, do what you gotta do, then put it back. This girl uses all of them at once for whatever the hell she is doing.

I see some stupid gym behaviour (curl bros with weightlifting gloves), but it doesn't affect me so I ignore it.

A guy in my gym turns up every so often in a onesie or pyjamas. We should really ask him to wear some proper clothes.

I set up a little circuit in the gym Tuesday night. Prowler, box jumps, farmers walks, 50kg deadlifts. Some knob comes in, plonks his stuff on the box I was using for jumping and then shoots me daggers when I motion at him to take them off. Then proceeds to randomly hop in on my circuit, lifting the deadlift bar a few times, using the sandbags etc. I have no problem with people jumping in if the place is busy, or I'm at an in-demand squat rack or platform. But the DL bar was set up on the matting in front of the prowler. I nearly shook my head off my shoulders thinking "you complete fu*cking ar*se -wipe".

I used to be in a certain gym owned by a shopping center guru, and iv seen every sin known to man.

Gloves (keep your hands soft so your handy j's are nice and smooth)

Flat peaked fashion baseball caps

sleeveless ts and skinny tracksuit bottoms

GAA shorts and socks (everyone gets it you play GAA well done)

building a dumbell fort around you for a ridiculous "dropset"

ridiculous shouting/standing around having the chats

Taking the treadmill/machine right beside you when the whole row is free

Ha my thoughts exactly iv boxer shorts that are longer that those ball strangler shorts.

Oh and i forgot my no1 annoyance, lads in there gym shorts under armour tshirts lovely runners, and still in their black dress socks from the days work, just plain nasty, youve changed everything else get into a pair of proper socks you animal!

What's wrong with GAA shorts? I wear them or rugby shorts or running shorts whatever comes out of the gear box first going to the gym.

I seen a lad shaving his armpits in the changing room the other week...not annoying behaviour but definitely unusual

Lads in the nip trying to have a conversation with you in the dressing room.

Lads and women who spend more time congregating for the chats at the desk than actually doing a bit. Extra knob marks if you holler at me with a smirk "leaving so soon haw haw?"

Gym staff that look at you peplexingly when you point out equipment is broken. The treadmill has been busted for over a month, sort it out!

Other than that I can take most behaviour in my stride.
