No mad differentials, while I've a couple of new signings, the likes of Sterling, Benteke and Cabeye are not new to the EPL. Not 100% sure about that defence, may downgrade Cabaye and get in Mertesacker. Thoughts?

Butland also has decent fixtures in his own right if Leicester struggle. Going with a cheap keeper is really an option this year with the changes to the bonus points. Also considered Myhill, RuddyDEFENDERS:Shaw should pick a good few cleansheets and offer attacking returns. Man U were boringly consistent with their tight possession style football towards the latter half of last season. The addition of Schneiderlin should shore things up even more. Both he and Darmian should do well getting forward. At the moment I'd favour Shaw (as a guaranteed starter) but if Darmian can nail down the RB spot then I think he will score better.Clyne and Skrtel look like the only guaranteed first choice defenders for Liverpool. Still not convinced on either one for cleansheets. Might switch to Bellerin or a cheaper defender to re-invest elsewhere.O'Shea is Sunderland captain so should play every minute. Matthews is another Sunderland defender I have my eye on to take of advantage of their great fixtures early on. PVA and Panti are too pricey.Francis had a great record last year and Bournemouth have a great run of fixtures. Between him and Mings for me.STaylor is a cheap filler. If things go to plan I won't need to pick him. He can be easily switched to a different £4m defender but if he gets an injury-free run in the team he could score well. Most weeks I can pick 3 of these defenders with favourable fixtures (up to GW10) and often there's a 4th player that I'd be happy to play. Also considered Olsson, Prodl, Ward. Waiting for Caulker to be added.MIDFIELDERS:Hazard always gains value and will score consistently. I don't want to get left behind early on.Ozil seems to be on fire in pre-season after a longer rest than he's had for a while. If I thought Walcott would start every game I'd go for him but for game time security and consistency I've gone with Ozil.Mata scored well when he got in the team in the 2nd half of last season. He's on pens and will still retain some free kicks. I think he will offer consistent returns in a team that should be better all over the pitch. Can be switched for Depay if the hype is real.Milner in my opinion has the potential to be this years must have player (see Ramsey 2 years ago and Kane last year). His points per minute played record is phenomenal. He'll likely start every game and could clock over 3000 minutes for the season barring injury.Mulumbu is my cheap mid that should be guaranteed game time. Chips in with a few assists but hopefully I won't need him. This could be Anya if he starts on the wing for Watford, or any other £4.5M player. Realistically the top 4 names here will paly every week and I'd consider them fixture proof. Other players considered: Silva, Ritchie, Cabaye, Sterling, Payet, Firmino, Young, Mane, Chadli. Watching Sanchez and Affellay.FORWARDS:Costa did well for me last year. Apart from the "will he/won't he play?" dilemma I was very happy with him. I expect to upgrade him to Aguero once he returns.Rooney has no competition for his place and is back where he belongs. My only fear is that Van Gaal tries to get too clever and moves him back to sweeper and converts Jonny Evans to striker. He has the potential to rival Aguero for top goal scorer in the league and top points scorer in the game.Wilson has goals in him too. It's always a risk going for a striker from a newly promoted team but their soft start could provide him with a platform to rack up a few early goals. This is a position that I'll need to monitor and could be switched to Deeney or another player that looks the part. The inclusion of Wilson as an every week starter is the glaring weakness in my team at the moment. At his price I'm not giving myself too many outs if he doesn't do the business. Also considered Sakho, Rodriguez, Kane, Adebayor, Giroud and Benteke. Sorry for the long post but wanted to articulate my thoughts and reasoning if anyone wants to discuss.

I'd say it's likely that Begovic has been told it's the League and FA Cup for him. I don't think we will see as much rotation this year and I think Courtois is a fantastic option at 5.5 when you consider the process of the Chelsea defenders. My two cents anyway. I think Courtois is now the nailed on number 1 and will start all EPL and CL games barring injury, suspension or a major loss of form

Not 100% on Costa, but a same cash alternative is for Rooney+Fab instead of Costa+Depay. I'm quite liking the lack of selection headaches i'd have! And Anya to be this season's George Boyd
