Really if you want to believe that fine the reality is you may be right but then again it could be one of a number of reasons none which may include not wanting to sign or new dining silly money. Their is a whole variety of reasons why he may not have signed I won't lose any sleep over it.

Don't know why you can't accept that he didn't want to sign for a lower league Scottish team. We are the only big club in Scotland and plenty of players don't want to sign for us either. You'll get used to it.

I really wish you would stop assuming to have a clue of what I think. I never said I cannot accept a played signing for us. I said there are many reasons why a player won't sign. The rest of your post is typical nonsense

I did not say you cannot accept a player not signing for you, I said you cannot accept the reason for it. Again, this is based on your posts where you reject the suggested reason and instead wish to entertain various other excuses.

Eustace is training with ghclub for two weeks so his fitness can be assessed. Foderingham has signed a three year deal with an option for a further year

seems strange that it is signed 'Deloitte LLP', maybe it is because the person does not want to be intimidated?

That could be anything it's no secret they wanted nothing to do with the accounts it was well known by just about everyone. Also the fact that it's a bit of paper from that well known bastion of fairness with anything regarding Rangers is the Muddleboard.

I believe this is just a clarification from Deloitte towards the club and the fans.

They informed the previous board they would resign after the June 2014 audit, the previous board chose not to announce this until about half a year ago or so.

Deloitte resigned under the previous board. Why would they come back crawling to the new board asking to be reappointed ?

Yes, I can read the letter from Deloitte dated 19th June 2015 which was sent to your current Board which states that they are "resigning as Auditors".

Was 19th June 2015 under the previous or current regime Jelle?

In the summer of 2014 Deloitte mentioned their intention to resign. Remember that time ? When the previous board were in control, in case you'd forgotten.

Where did Deloitte say they were going to resign as Auditors? I must have missed that statement. Twice you've made reference to it but I can't find any statement from Deloitte about it.

]In a letter distributed to Rangers International Football Club plc shareholders, Deloitte say the messages came from "anonymous third party sources" during 2013 and 2014.

In a separate letter to shareholders James Blair, the RIFC company secretary said: "The board is disappointed that Deloitte has chosen to resign due to acts which occurred in 2013 and 2014 whilst RIFC was under different stewardship."

South African businessman Dave King and allies took control of the RIFC board from allies of Sports Direct tycoon Mike Ashley in a shareholders vote at an extraordinary general meeting on March 6.

The Deloitte letter dated June 19 states: "We have decided that we no longer wish to carry on as auditor to the company.

"During the period of our audit appointment in 2013 and 2014, members of our engagement team and other Deloitte partners unconnected with the audit received threatening or intimidating messages from anonymous third party sources.

"The safety and wellbeing of our staff is of paramount importance, and they should not be subject to this treatment when undertaking their normal professional duties. Accordingly we are resigning as auditors to Rangers International Football Club plc."

Blair told shareholders there had been "positive discussions" ongoing with "alternative auditors" and that an announcement on an appointment will be made "in the near future".

The announcement to shareholders comes three months after the latest half-yearly RIFC accounts said that the Rangers holding company had appointed London-based accountants Jeffreys Henry to act as independent reporting accountants after discovering Deloitte had announced an "intention to resign" following the June 2014 audit.

Acting chairman Paul Murray said at the time that the previous board "chose not to announce this nor did they find a replacement".

At the time the board said it would make "a further announcement on this subject once we have found a replacement firm for Deloitte".

The board said the financial statement made for the six month period to December 31 2014 was made on a "going concern basis", saying it was investigating a "number of options" for future finance and had identified a number of potential investors.

Am I missing something here?... Even if Deloitte had announced their intention to step down while the previous board were in control (and I accept that is likely accurate) they were and are still in effect into the tenure of the new board... If the situation was genuinely improving then it stands to reason that they could easily be convinced to continue in their role... I'm sure Deloitte aren't in the practice of turning down clients unless they are just more trouble than they are worth.
