I suppose like anything else, "good" is an entirely subjective standard. There are enough people that think iPhones are 'good' in order that Apple makes quite a nice profit. There are many more people whose opinion differs, and so in order to increase their market share, Apple must convince these people to purchase their iPhone, in the same way as a sex worker will attempt to convince people that they should choose to avail of her services as she provides a service that is superior to her competition.

It's basic marketing.

Maybe if you were able to get the 'average woman' that the other guy is getting then then your opinion would be different.

Maybe, but there are too many variables involved. Ever have sex with a woman after a lengthy spell of abstaining from masturbation so you end up cumming after a couple of minutes? Yet to another woman you could be a machine. Then there's the temperature of the room, the type of jondom used, how drunk you are, how hot she is etc etc, the list goes on. Sometimes sex is great and sometimes its crap. Whether or not money was exchanged before hand doesn't make a difference.

agree with this jack and also there is the possibility that the man himself has to convince himself that he is paying for a 'better' product.

Whatever anyone says, it is not ideal to have to pay for sex so to justify it there needs to be something extraordinary according to the man.

of course there are beautiful hookers but he generalises that these hookers are better sexually than other beautiful women (whom he has probably not experienced and has no chance of experiencing) so that he does not have to deal with the fact that they just wont sleep with them. He places the issue on 'average women' in general and their performance rather than accept that it is him who cannot get the girl he really desires and the girl who is willing to go that extra mile for him. its a defence mechanism.

Then again, if you neither know any better, or if you simply don't care, that's a whole other story, but to suggest that anything is better while ignoring the fact you have to pay for it, is total nonsense.

In fact, it's actually been suggested as the motivation for some people that paying for it is part of the attraction of the experience. I can't disagree with that, if that's what makes the experience better for them, but again, that's a whole other story.

There are an infinite number of reasons really as to why people avail of the services of sex workers, it's quite literally impossible to pin it down to one single reason, but any of those reasons, apart from the aspect of either convenience, or paying for it, or simply the thrill of knowing they do it; there is simply nothing that a person can avail of with a sex worker that they couldn't avail of with another person without paying for the experience.

Even if that is the case, would it really matter if the man had a good time? I know I posted that Total Recall clip for a laugh earlier, but it got me thinking about the implanting of memories. The man could look back on the experience in years to come and only have fond memories of it.

Exactly. You got lucky. Neither age nor experience counted for anything in that encounter. Clearly to some people, what they consider a good experience is actually fundamentally dependent on not just the fact they pay for it, but also how much they pay for it.

if the sex was good or not can only be decided at the end, and its not possible to trick someone into believing that a bad shag was good
