Would this indicate it's faulty or dirty? There was no code for the MAF when the car was scanned with INPA a few weeks ago.

Ded_Zebra wrote: » Have you looked for a vacuum leak yet? Definitely do that before condemning the MAF
Foxhole Norman wrote: » Would the fact it's starting and running fine disconnected indicate it's faulty so as when it was connected it was rough? I'll do it again in the morning and see if it's rough. With regards vacuum leaks, there's a whistle on acceleration, no matter the gear and there's a bit of tape covering the intake boot from the MAF to the lower intake pipe along with it being old and hard, this part is already on the way.

She hits the rear quarter of the car in the space beside it, and keeps driving!! She left a nasty dent on the rear quarter panel and the door and scrope the side of the car. I went up to her window and told her, she got out and i told her again. She just threw her hands up, while this was happening the owner of the other car came back and asked what car she hit, I told her yours. They had a bit of a chat and the old wan went on her way. The owner of the other car was eastern European so I'm not sure if she wanted to make a fuss or didn't care because i asked her if she got the other ladies insurance, she said no, she rubbed it off. I said fair enough and off she went. The car did have a fair few dings in it anyway but if it was my car I'd be f**king fuming.
