Does anyone else factor in the away fixtures per week your team has? At the mo, all 5 off my defenders are away this weekend. Looking to swap Bert for Clyne, but wouldn't mind a home fixture for a defender. Issue is, the home rotation at the mo does not offer up great cs potential.

As iroced said elsewhere, it would have made sense to sell him before last GW if there had been any indication he'd be out this long, he's already dropped 0.2 so I could have sold (probably for Cazorla) at 10.9 and been looking at buying back for maybe 11.0 so breaking even with Cazorlas rises (not to mention Cazorlas 17 points).

I don't see why Wenger would risk starting him against Leicester with so many big matches on the horizon. If he doesn't play against Leicester I think he'll be 10.8m or so by the time GW26 rolls around. Similar to the ADM situation when he free fell.

I'd prefer Walcott for the next two unless Welbeck displaces Theo against Leicester for some reason. Santi is the safer choice in terms of ownership if that matters.

Got Fab and Sanchez. If Fab is injured for two games might transfer, but don't really want to take a hit.

I think people should carefully consider transferring Sanchez out if they have a lot of money tied up in him, he'll have been out for two gameweeks after the NLD and he is the type of player who will be dying to play in the Leicester game

Walcott should be on people's radar, he has a good record in the NLD games.

lovely. theo shud start. Saturday now and hopefully cement his place. if not I'll see the arsenal team before deadline Tuesday and may won Sanchez for the first time this season at a more affordable price than the 11.5 I so nearly paid for him with my wildcard. i d be angry right now if I had !

On the whole Aresnal V Spurs high scoring thing. Looking at the facts, something of a myth.

Some stats of note:

Last 4 PL meetings averaged 1.75 goals per game.

Going back before that to 2012 there were two 5-2 results which is probably what creates the high scoring perception, but last 4 results have been 1-1, 0-1, 1-0, 2-1

Scorers wise, in the recent 4 games scorers were Arsenal: Rosicky, Mert, Giroud; Spurs: Chadli, Bale, Lennon.

The two 5-2 games were at the Emirates, Arsenal scorers were Walcott (3), Sagna, RVP, Rosicky, Podolski, Giroud, Cazorla, Mert (1 each)

Arsenal have scored 1 goal on 4 of their last 6 PL visits to WHL. The scored 0 one time and three in 2011 (Walcott, RVP, Nasri)

I think i'll hold sanchez I have him since 10.3 and because I've a strong front 8 I can go with

Aguero ings Kane and bench sanchez.
If he doesn't start v Leicester ill sell and will have 2 transfers. I want to upgrade ings then anyway as his fixtures take a nasty turn.

Yeah. But if you look at it in detail, their last 5 at home read 2 CS, 2 "-1" (2 goals conceded) and 1 2-pointer (1 goal conceded). Considering the original discussion was around Yun (a £3.9m def) this is not that bad. The 2 CS came from Burnley & Palace when you'd expect them. One of the "-1" was MU when you'd be benching him, the other one was WB (fail) and the 2-pointer was swansea (Okish).

If you compare him with Wasi & Baird.

To conclude, not that I particularly want to defend QPR defensive home prospects but I think Yun @ £3.9m is potentially a better option than Wasi & Baird. He has 2 home games for DGW28 (though tough enough ones) so as a 5th def using very little cash he's as good as any I'd say

So unless I really really want to free up that extra 1m I think saving a precious transfer for the Blank and DGW could be the way to go. Anybody care to disagree?

Yeah I'm now annoyed I didn't kept Silva and ditched Sanchez during my WC. I really assumed without making detailed research he was going to be missing just 1 game. I don't know if I've been careless or if it's just hindsight talking now but I really regret it.

It's tougher to decide now (can sell for £10.9m - and yeah I'm wary of any little £0.1m now that Sturridge's back) since I can't really see him drop that much but if he's not fully fit for Leicester it's true that Wenger could preserve him but we'll need the Alsacian to openly state it so that panick runs down FPL and everyone sells :pac: !

It certainly made me reconsider the necessity of going for another Arsenal player for Sanchez if selling him for possibly one week.

Silva has three good fixtures now, Hull (h) Stoke (a) and Newcastle (h)

Arsenal have Leicester (h) after Spurs obviously then Palace (a)

Sanchez to Silva now, then ADM to Sanchez in 2 weeks could be an option.

Depends how many get rid before Spurs. I think he'll definitely drop tomorrow night and then Sat night which brings him to 11.1m. There's then a fortnight before GW26.

ADM? Not that he's on super form but United scored 3 at the week-end. He's apparently getting sharper. I don't know where he played but on potential only he should return points. And you'll lose very little to get Sanchez back. You actually could get him in cheaper than you'll sell it for.

I don't want to force you into a -4 but Silva home to Hull (and his next fixtures in general) and considering his recent form has to be considered. Granted you have Aguero but if it works again like last week-end that's grand
