She wasn't aware that people leaving Tus had to fill these in and is now going to look into it further.

The lines of communication seems completely shut between Tús and Social Welfare. As I said before when I asked in SW office when I'd be back in payment, I was told, and I quote: "I have no clue." Helpful!

Tús is a community work placement initiative providing short-term working opportunities for people who are long-term unemployed. The work opportunities are to benefit the community and are provided by the not for profit community and voluntary organisations in both urban and rural areas

ALSA is a for-profit business, and they are in error of this policy. This should be looked into as they cannot partake in TUS. Read the pdf regarding it's particulars. Maybe some-one should take this up with the higher heads within TUS.

If your TUS supervisor is contacting you on your phone without your consent they are breaking the law
Bongalongherb wrote: » OK, after a few days of discussion to folks that were previously paid workers in ALSAA Dublin airport road, they said that they were let go and ALSAA took on TUS workers instead of paying a wage. This is displacing real jobs. They won't go on the record though so it's going to be tough to make them come forward. This is the usual thing, afraid to speak out. If any person that worked in ALSAA Dublin airport road wants to respond to this above scenario or has been let go from your job for them to take on TUS workers send me a PM.
