If you're gonna lpg it for your own use - don't. I know from other places I'm spamming, those engines don't like to be run on lpg. But if you're gonna sell it quickly - no problem.

So I booked my NCT for November 20th in Waterford, will be there at dentist, so 2 birds 1 stone. My local not available til end of January. NCT is out on 01/01/15.
If I fail in waterford, can I get re-test done at my local centre?
Also...
Do I have to print out confirmation? I have it on text and email on phone.

Yes, you can get it re-tested anywhere and the text confirmation will do you fine

Oh this evening the beast creature decided it didn't like being locked and set off the alarm about three minutes after being locked three times.

I think it's just weather sensitive, a long hard winter will cure it

So a lad pulled up next to me this morning in a Golf MkV. GTI badge, bodykit, yellow brake calipers, and wait for it, Lambo alloys.

Ran the reg on my phone, it was a 1.4. Not a tsi, the 75bhp 1.4

that's pretty much it. there is a raft of 04 corolla's out there, the primary reason is not to lower my loss as much but to make the car more desirable than others so as to shift it quicker.

the consensus seems that that wouldn't be the case though.

Airlocked the sh1te out of my paj changing the diesel filter yesterday, some pain in the hole trying to get it going again :mad:

Bloody soaked, time for tay as I've killed the batteries cranking it :pac:

Did you fill the filter? I would have thought a Pajero would have a primer

Yeah, cocked it up though, was distracted and only half filled it for some stupid reason, have taken it off and refilled it a good few times at this stage though. :pac:

It has a primer but seems useless, used comp air to force fuel up from the tank & bled it that way, primer still gains no resistance though.

Had fuel last night at the injectors but now ive none, gonna move the I/C now to get at the bleeders on the pump while the batteries charge, see how that goes.

I've even taken the strainer out of the tank and cleaned it off in hope to gain better pressure.

Must be some hape of air in it. Pain in the hole on a day like today. :pac:

I've seen a mk5 golf with the full gti it started up as I walked passed it in a car park all I could think to myself is your fooling no one it was an SDI mk5 golf not even a TDI that was a good one there are aloud of 1.4 75ps ones going around Kilkenny and a few tdi's with full gti kits on them.

I also drove up behind a mk2 octavia pre facelift with a gt tdi badge on the back that was the best laugh I had got in a while.

Micksgarage has some quick service when it comes to delivery. I ordered a workshop manual and a few other small things late Monday night and the stuff arrived early Wednesday morning that's fair going.
